I mean we were on the break and his stupid flick completely ruined it. They then went into the spaces we left on the transition and scored.

Alli takes some of the blame but Davies had the turning circle of a tractor, Sanchez dangled out a leg, Doherty once again forget he’s supposed to be a defender and Lloris was beaten on his near post. All in all it was shite defending all around.

Win's a win and don't want to pick bones but what's the point of a reserve striker like Vini if you can't trust him to play some part against Stoke City? I also think he was Mourinho's top pick for back-up striker so not really sure what's going on there.

More minutes in Kane's leagues with the schedule ahead isn't ideal but at least we won.

Lamela: Physically tough, leaves his mark on the opposition, but breaks easily

Lucas: His touch stinks
Lamela - sets the energy and attitude, doesn't let the opposition rest, makes good use of the ball, brings others in to play.

Lucas - runs a lot, consistently takes poor touches to ruin promising attacks, makes unintelligent runs, doesn't link up well enough.

The sad thing about Alli is you can see he’s still got something about him when he has to be instinctive but when he’s in acres of space his decision making is so poor... either runs into traffic or plays a careless ball and gives it away.

If I was the manager I'd be focusing on the positives he did throughout the game and be trying to give him another chance vs Wolves but with a focus on cutting that shit out. I don't think it's gonna go that way.

His needless flick set Stoke off on the counter for their goal. A reporter said Jose yelled at him that he’d cost us the goal, then he was dragged off minutes later. Safe to say Jose was not impressed despite all the treat he posed in the first half.

didnt notice it at the time so just watched it back. Their goal starts with a goal kick from the goalkeeper? How in this world is that because Dele tried a flick in the middle of the park?

That’s slightly unfair, we looked alright in the first half.

I only watched the second half, and Dele was utter crap from what I saw. If he wants to get back in to the side he needs to play well, consistently, for a number of consecutive games. At the moment, he can just about manage a half before he gets bored and the lame flicks come out. It’s pathetic.

And I want Dele to sort it out as much as anyone.

We look awkward keeping the ball. Why when we pass the ball the receiver either gets a poor pass or struggles to control it. Once we relaxed at 3-1 it did get a little better but still not good enough.
