Mourinho continues with his insanity persisting with these shit tactics it'll almost be better for us if the other team score 1st, couldn't be much worse.

They didnt play as holding midfielders though.

Sissoko was clearly told to play high and combine with Aurier. Winks was supposed to be connecting play. The FBs were bombing on whilst Hojbjerg covered.

Ill say it again for those at the back.

The quality is the issue here!

We have infinitely more quality than the VAST majority of the teams that bully us off the park every week.

We have a squad that includes kane, son, bale, Alli, lloris, ndombele, reguillon.

Not buying the we nEEd moOr plAyERs shit. It's all to do with tactics and mentality

Ndombele needs fucking wise up too. Cut those fucking dribbling in tight spaces thinking he could wriggle out every time. He has plenty of spaces to pass a one-two and still get the ball, in space ffs.
It would help if his fellow midfielders had some quality too.

Should have given Dele his shot. To me it seemed a no-brainer to test whether he could carry over some momentum from the other day. More likely now he's back to a feeling of deflation upon his continued lack of minutes. The moment is lost. He's done.

(Ftr I am not even a Dele fan, I just think this was potentially the perfect game for him to make an impact)

We are drawing from winning positions, not clawing back draws from games we are losing.

Modric , Dembele et al would not have let fulham get the ball back. We are profligate in possession while already winning.
Ndombele is the only one grafting in midfield. How often was he holding the ball off from 4 Fulham players with no support from his own team mates?

Hojbjerg ‘I’m happy there’s a game in 3 days...’

There was a game tonight. Every game is 3 valuable points up for grabs and they do not get to trade one off for another. Useless.

The next time i see Sanchez, Moussa and Winks in the 1st eleven ever again, i'll switch the TV off to save myself the unavoidable heartache.

I will say though I think Fulham are better than a lot of you think they are. May not have won games, but ground out draws and look better each time. Play some good stuff. Like the look of Lookman especially.

I think it would have been suicidal not to play Sissoko. Serge would have given a few pens and we would have more than likely lost the game. I've lost count of how many times Sissoko has saved Serge. He provides good cover to the brain farts Serge has become famous for

U play sissoko in the position he is good at. Right Central midfield next to peh not a wing forward

When you have limited footballers in key areas of the pitch then yeah, I do think we play differently.

The same problem existed for the manager Jose replaced. Again, the history is there, people don't want to acknowledge it.
I don't see it like that the football is utterly lacking of any ambition.

Jose needs to wise the fuck up. Anyone with a pair of eyes could see that a fulham goal was coming but he fucking sat and did nothing. Starting Sanchez over Toby was pure daft and I still do not know what the fuck Harry Winks does. Fucking sick of this sitting back shit even when it’s fucking obvious the midfield is getting overrun. This one is fully on Jose. Fucking Groundhog Day!!!

Sorry but this simply isn’t true. Who in our team bar the usual 4, are above average players? We could put the entire team on the market and we would only have suitors for Kane, Son, PEH and N’Dombele. That’s the real truth of it.
We need players but what's Jose's excuse for playing Sissoko in attack when Dele Ali is sat the on the bench?

Think about that for a moment.

The most worrying thing is, we've had no ITK regarding players that can make us any better. I've heard so many people calling out Jose but it could be that he doesn't trust the players. Bale is not what he use to be and quite frankly we should send him back. Dele has a tendency to try stupid tricks that puts us under pressure. Stevie seems to be completely void of confidence and Lamela hasn't played that much due to injury

Love Hjobjerg.

Clearly means so much to him

We really need another player of his quality to play with him in midfield.

Sissoko a great bench option but not on the level of Son, Kane and PEH

So often we end up with some bizarre donut formation, with simply no-one wanting the ball in midfield. Everything has to go through the fullbacks. Reguillon very good again tbf

Matt Holland absolutely right. We need a planB

We need a proper ball playing, intelligent, midfielder

Have you seen some of the rubbish that plays in the United team and the manager, and there top of the table.

Instead of scapegoating any player or the manager, I think that the collective was responsible for that pile of insipid shit today. Be it a slightly too conservative line up and slow motion response to what was clearly coming from Jose, to far too many of our players checking out in the second half. Son, Sissoko and Ndombele were really poor in the 2nd half. Hid behind players, didn’t move into spaces and seemed to just have the game bypass them. As soon as Son hit the post I knew they would score and we were more likely to lose from that point. That is how predictable we have become.
So, no offense to anyone who wants to take a flaming dump on the manager or point the finger at individual defenders, I would just say that nobody had a particularly good day in office. The one exception would be Reg. He was very good tonight in all phases. Everyone else... not so awesome.
