Sorry but those flicks can be lethal. When you can't break a side down you need to do something unpredictable, that's what those flicks are. He might lose the ball three or four times but the next one is Son in clean through on goal.
Depends.

When Alli flicked it on the edge of the box, none of the defenders had been drawn in - they both sat back and blocked the passing lane. Alli needs to be aware of this because he needed to take a touch, spin and drive at goal to draw them in. Instead his flick made it easy for them.

Alli is much better when he sticks to the basics and plays with an edge. Just flicking the ball effortlessly like that isn't going to give us an edge.

Dont get the complaints about dele. Thought he made intelligent runs and tried to open them up in different ways to how we had been trying.

Loved his little back heals and flicks to no one in the last five minutes when we were desperately trying to equalise. The guy can be such a useless, thick twat sometimes.

Nothing like a loss to bring out the utter prick in all of us :(
But it's fucking West Ham. I used to hate losing to them when it meant they were now only 15 points behind us, let alone losing to them when it means they're 9 points ahead of us.

Regardless of how we played in the second half, today is a very dark day.

Bale was excellent but you don’t take off your best player in the 1st half when everyone else was poor. Son had a terrible game, even though Moura scored he was also poor.
Do you feel we lost because Lamela went off? Or, to put it another way, do you think he would have prevented us from losing?

How embarrassing! Letting lingard score makes it even worse. Shocking again, no idea going forward or defending. Would love to know what Mourinho can see
I thought Lingard would score today, same as I knew there wasn't a hope we'd keep a clean sheet.
Anyone surprised by this result hasnt been paying attention.

We was told Doherty is this attacking right back, can't remember him putting 1 decent cross in, horrific player

To be fair we were also told he isn’t a crosser of the ball, his thing was driving into the box. Serge is the crossing RB.

You don’t take off your most card-prone player when he’s on a yellow and the ref is throwing them round like a paedophile distributing sweets in a playground?

It’s an opinion, I guess...

Lamela’s never been sent off in his Spurs career so there’s no basis for thinking he was going to get sent off today. Hojbjerg was the most at risk of being sent off considering his job is to tackle the opposition 24/7.

That Kane square ball is gonna have me fuming for a week. How the fuck rice cleared that without conceding an own goal is beyond me. Just play it earlier or with more pace. Rice did absolutely brilliantly to clear that, but he shouldn’t have been given a fucking chance. Hate dwelling on what ifs though. Just so angry because that performance deserved 3 points, and it being 0 is so frustrating.

Exactly, even if Dele fucks up 90pcnt of the things he tries he'll still create big chances. He grew up in a high possession Poch side where that's totally worth it. Mourinho ball just isn't working for him. Fuck Mourinhoball

Lingard has been great for West Ham since he got there. Not sure what you mean by that. I’d take him in our team right now.

The only thing I question about Jose today was his decision to leave Rodon at home and why on earth he brought Doherty on.

However this was not a performance where I'm pointing fingers at the manager.

Yeah I said before the match that I felt he should have been picked but Rodon should have at least been on the bench I think, that you can criticise him for.

Agree...apart from the supporting Liverpool bit....never going to happen, will have to find another team...

Yeah probably, they look shot. I’ll have to hope Chelsea finish above West Ham instead and thoroughly scrub myself afterwards.

This is not Jose’s fault it’s the players , Jose only trains the team / decides on tactics and formations and picks the team/ hangs players out to dry in public when we get beat/ and should write a book ,Jose’s
Excuse manual, it would be a best seller
