My captain. The only irreplaceable player we have.

and Spurs Player of the Season bar none. He has been world class 95% of the time and bloody brilliant the remaining 5%

The story ties in with some ITK saying both he and Son are due to sign new contracts by the summer ? ?

Just a quick question for everyone... If you were in Harry's shoes what would you do?

1. Stay for the rest of your career and potentially win a few domestic cups but be the club's and premier league's all-time leading goalscorer? As I'm pretty certain he'll break both records. He would then arguably be the greatest player in our history.

2. Leave and go to City for example and win multiple trophies but not be considered such a legend? He would still be the greatest goal scorer in the premier league though if he stayed in the league.

I guess it just will come down to what his main motivations are - as it's not a very easy decision to make imo.

My main motivation would be playing for the club I love, but everyone's motivations are different, only Harry knows what he wants to do.

Harry isn't going anywhere. His main motivation will be beating Greavsie. That's immortal stuff right there.

No he's not.. he's an ex player, but he's Leicester through and through.

I don’t recall him ever being Leicester-mad either until they won the league.
But yes certainly wouldn’t consider him one of our own. Don’t think he ever attended a big occasion (125 years, match post-Bill Nic passing, last day at WHL) he probably sees it as beneath him.

He’s genuinely one of the most disliked people in football too.

Everyone seems to think that trophies are the only type of glory for a player with ambition. Don't get me wrong, we bloody need some....

But if Kane went to a Man City or a Bayern or a PSG for a year... he'd win a trophy, sure, but within 5 years that's forgotten at a club like that.

Become a Clubs all time top scorer and top scorer in the PL. That is immortality for a generation or more (I understand that immortality and a time limit is an oxymoron of sorts...).

You are worshipped by us, our children and if Greaves, my grandad and I are any example - even grandchildren.

That would be motivation to me. And I think that will weigh on Kane heavily. Can't blame him for wanting silverware on his mantlepiece though.

You can be an icon and a legend and loyal - without a trophy.

TBF Ornstein the other day said Kane might want to leave Spurs but there would likely not be any market for him, he never said Kane would actually be leaving.

For me it's just common sense that nobody will be paying upwards of £150m for a 28 year old when the likes of Haaland, Mbappe and even Felix are all available for similar fees and 7/8 years younger. Most likely situation is that Kane signs another massive contract breaking our wage structure again to at least compensate him financially for staying with us imo.

He said he speaks to a lot of people in football and the consensus is that he would like to leave Tottenham but can't say that publicly.

Amazing amount of backtracking in the space of 3 days.

The two things don’t need to be mutually exclusive. He can win trophies here. It’s not like he hasn’t had chances to already.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If we don't finally vote him our POTY this year it'll be an absolute disgrace. Just as it is a disgrace that he hasn't won it up until now.
He won it once didn't he? 15/16

Winning any sort of trophy here is more difficult than winning even 10 trophies at city, Barca, Madrid, PSG, Bayern. I actually think it would be a greater achievement and represent a greater career winning just one trophy here than many others at a club that already win multiple each year. Certainly among our fans I think that is the consensus. We don't know what he wants or thinks though, I'm just enjoying having a genuinely top 5-10 player in the world at the club, and someone who has come from our academy.

Maybe everyone was winding Ornstein up on account of him being a penis.
I remember Ornstein interviewing Wenger last year and one of his questions to Arsene was ‘did you cry when you left Arsenal’. It was really creepy and he just comes across a bit strange. He’s not a knob in the way Charlie Nicholas or Merson is a knob....he’s just a bit out of focus and strange in a less definable way.

Yet another " Kanes a diver " in the sun today . I really can't be bothered to defend him as he does not need defending he should be held in the highest esteem .
