Makes me feel old.
Such a memorable day all round, my first Wembley visit and a hugely unexpected win to reach the final.
Still my favourite occasion as a Spurs fan.

11 years ago today Danny Rose paid tribute by smacking in a debut goal against Arsenal. Where are they both now?

Thirty long years ago today.

So true story - I support Liverscum as I loved the silver candy kit they had back in the day. My folks couldnt afford much back in the day so I think I bought it from Oxfam at the time.

Anyways - I watched this game and fell in love with Spurs - I changed from Liverscum to Spurs because of that game. I did glory hunt little did i know it was pretty much a one off argh

I remember watching this in my bedroom with my cousin. He's a Geordie, so was supporting Spurs with me because of Gazza. He was 10 at the time, I was 3 days from turning 12. And when that free kick went in, we both went absolutely ballistic.

My earliest football memory. Little did I know at five years old what a lifetime of woe I was getting myself in for.

Those were the days spurs were so enjoyable to follow. The venables years are amongst my rose tinted, youthful favourites. Was there for that free kick at the age of 14, with my (now deceased) step dad. He did everything he could to get me tickets, albeit they were in the away end! Forced me to sit down when gazza scored....

Will always be grateful for taking me to so many games. When he finally conceded I wouldn't be a die hard Borough fan.

The FA cup run was fantastic and my first memory as a Spur fan.

I do wonder how we would respond to that season in the here and now. 10th in the league, Linekar bring top scorer with 13 league goals and numerous poor performances.

I remember watching the 0-0 with QPR. Made some of our performances from this season look like Brazil in the 1970s.

I was there with my dad. Aged 14. Was my first trip back to Wembley after crying my eyes out there vs Coventry in 87. Still the best game I've ever been to. When the 3rd goal went in up our end it was absolute bedlam.
