The people supporting this are only doing so because it gives us a new route to money and the dream of success. There's no other reason.

For me we're selling our soul to the devil. We can't be successful through the usual way so we want to try and change that by going through the back door (oo err).

There's no way to dress this up or try and justify it, its because people want success and money. Levy is doing it for the same reasons and because he doesn't want to be left behind.

I actually hope that Uefa and fifa ban the clubs and players.

Football fucked up years ago by letting rich sugar daddys dominate the game. This isn't the way to undo that.

At least we can say we are dining ar the top table now, even if we look out of place at the table.

I'll not lie - I'm gutted at this news & astounded in equal measure, but honestly - this club has been a part of me for over 40 years & through everything I've seen through those years I've stayed loyal. I'm a creature of habit and I'll still be there supporting us for whatever that actually means anyway.

This is going to generate annual amounts comfortably over £100m, while the UEFA competitions will become an unfunny joke with sod-all revenue. As for redistributing money that could happen, but with the Big 6 all voting against would need an unanimous vote from the others - and the 6 would inevitably threaten to leave entirely (which would have to be taken seriously now) if it was too radical.
