The thing is- we could get 175 million for Kane and I still wouldn’t trust the club to spend it wisely and strategically

I'm sure once they see my upcoming posts in the summer transfer thread, they'll be on the blower to me and I'll steer us right.

Hope he doesnt win a single trophy & gets a career ending injury his first game for city. ****.
Haha, this is where I’m getting to (without the injury). I’ll just look at Kane as a player that scored a few goals but not our best ever goal scorer and someone who never won atrophy with us ;) Ex players mean nothing to me once they’ve left.

If there has been movement, be interesting to see if he starts today? (Although I assume Mason has nothing to gain by dropping him)

If he goes to City, winning the league is an expectation not an achievement- may aswell buy a replica trophy- holds no value. To me it’s 200m plus straight payment, if he did the Webster that becomes similar to Sol situation, not quite as bad but a definite act meant to harm the club- he should not have signed for 6 years. Just really pissed off with media and how money was the root of all evil 3 weeks ago but now it doesn’t matter if he goes to oil or nation states - all about fans was all drivel

Nowadays you need to spend 50m on unproven young talent, it's better to have best players leave on a free honestly.
Which is what we should do, hold him to his contract. A big club would. We could show some balls and finally stand up for ourselves.
