One Telegraph article that was mainly about Grealish but some about Kane wanting to leave. There was no new news in it though.

Hercules also said he’s being difficult.

There’s been no change on us changing our not for sale stance.

I suspect the Telegraph article was released to coincide with his return to training and probably a move by City to get him to agitate for a move.

People will need to strap in. The shit is about to be ramped up considerably. It’s going to be annoying.
Be a shame if he pretends to be injured or whatever.

Such a shame hes deciding to wipe out his legacy for a couple of oil trophys.

If H was to leave, it is completely my own opinion but I think we would try and bring in Martinez and Vlahovic as replacements.

I love H but it's clear he wants to leave and so if the required bid comes in, it's sadly going to be time to part ways.

One thing is for sure, if City want him, they need to move pretty quickly as we won't be left chasing replacements with a week or so left in the window.

Will City put in the required bid? Yes they probably will as with H and Grealish they will be even more formidable than they already are.

I can see the Premier League ending up like the Bundesliga. And all the bookies only taking bets on second place and downwards.

City are not going to pay the £160m plus it would take for us to sell imo.

Grealish going to them for £100m is actually great because it totally justifies our valuation of Kane. Grealish is a good player but he’s nowhere near as good as Kane. Statistically Kane is far superior, he is England captain, golden boot winner, most assists etc. So we can easily justify Kane being worth £60m plus more than Grealish.

Just don’t see City paying that amount for him.

And if they do, it just shows how much Man City are killing football. Bet we don’t see Gary Neville raging about them like he did the Super League though!

If City has to come up with any kind of offer that equals our valuation, it cannot be done without their player(s) involved in the deal.

If we sell Kane, way I would look to improve is,
2 players+ cash for Kane (150m+ valuation).

i) Buy a top class LCB to partner Romero.
ii) Include Yangel Herrera in the swap to give more options in CM/DM
iii) Include B Silva in the swap as well
iv) Buy Vlahovic
v) Swap one of GLC/Ndombele with cash to get Lautaro Martinez in return

Lloris
Tomiyasu Romero, <newLCB> Reguillon
Hojbjerg Skipp/Herrera
Silva, Lautaro , Son
Vlahovic

Wouldn't mind Jesus as part of the deal, as long as we also get Vlahovic

Bollocks. Like most people, nowadays, you cannot tell the difference between "opinion" and evidence.

And your post is the slyest kind of fake, passive-aggressive, dishonestly "sincere" slime, managing to be ingratiating and patronising in the same breath.

And there we have it, let it out mate.

Shame really though.

I don't think many of us would blame him if he actually manned up and came out and said yea I want to go, I want to win trophies which I don't see happening here. Most of us would accept that and would still respect him and consider him a spurs legend but the way he's doing it sneakily now with his team leaking shit, supposedly being difficult behind the scenes etc leaves a very sour taste in mouth and will tarnish how most will view him. He can't hold onto his wholesome reputation if this is how his team are going about this.

Still can't see city stumping up the cash so don't think he'll go anywhere this year. Going to be a shit month coming up with his team going to get more desperate as the month goes on.

The thing is, I don’t blame Kane for wanting to leave us as we haven’t progressed, we’ve gone backwards. So that’s fair enough.

But what I do blame Kane about is wanting to go to Man City.

They are cheats, plain and simple, and they are ruining football more than any super league etc. Kane is proving that he has zero respect for us, for himself, for the game of football. City are a plastic club and anything and everything they do is soulless and dead.

So do I blame Kane for wanting to go? No not at all, I get it.

But have I lost all respect for him and hope he fails if he goes City? Absolutely because he is proving he is just as broken as the rest of the game.

If he wants to leave that bad, let him put in a transfer request. If you’re gonna play the game this way, have the stones to own it.

This one will go right down to the wire. He certainly isn’t going to be sold to them ahead of the opening game.
I think that, financially, City will win this one as they will get him for substantially less than the mooted £200 million that Levy wants.
I think it’s going to be £160 million and done on deadline day.

Paratici clearly knows the plan and this is why we are targeting strikers in the 40-50 million bracket rather than the 20 mill bracket.

As for Kane himself, I’m reminded of some song lyrics by Gloria Gaynor.
“Don’t turn around now, cos you’re not welcome anymore.”

I just can't see them paying more than £160m.

It's going to get nasty.

This is why Levy's stance is wrong on this transfer for me. Should have come out right at the beginning saying that he understands Kane wants to leave and that we won't stand in his way however he has a valuation of X and if it isn't met by Y then we won't be selling.

That shifts the narrative from Kane vs Spurs to Spurs vs Man City.

Doing it this way just tells Kane that if he wants his move he has to get it which leads to all this agent led bollocks.

I meant it to sound at least as harsh as it sounded. The post I was responding to was vile, in the slimiest possible way. As I said: "ingratiating and passive-aggressive in the same breath". I couldn't have put it better myself.

And incorrect, which is worse.

And you're just as bad. You're lying. If I'm on your "ignore" list, you wouldn't have seen my post. No one quoted it.

Something about the ITK forum brings out the bullshit in people and bullshit brings out the rudeness in me.

I don't belong in this forum. Too much bullshit to tolerate.

Now please put me back on "ignore", so I don't need to deal with your shit anymore.
I have read some fantastic informative posts from you over the years so you absolutely belong on this forum and I for one would never put you on ignore.

What I don't understand is why a valuable and intelligent member like you lower yourself to get involved in arguments in this way?

I hope that you are ok and that it isn't other factors that is the catalyst for this. Just a dm away in that case. ❤️

he had his chances and he is part of the failure. from ENIC, the board, the managers (Poch and Mourinho), the players no one should be exempted from the responsibility to deliver

His job was to score goals... He did that. I'm not going turn on the guy like a spurned lover. Our hierarchy are to blame. A once in a generation talent mixed with some great talent in Walker, Vertonghen, Toby, Rose, Eriksen, Dele, Dier at their peak...we failed to continously improve the playing personal and add real quality..... as Danny Rose said....bringing in players you have to Google.

THFC under Enic have always been about making up the numbers and top 4.

I'd have Jesus, Laporte +£100m if City are intent on being disgusting, flagrant knobjackets about it - which they will be, of course, since money and the concept of capitalism means nothing to them.
