much as Harrys behavior is atrocious today this is on levy

he took club from 2nd position to 7th in 3 years , from a cl final to Europes third tier comp

refusing to back posh in summers of 17 and 18 then the disastrous posh / Jose switch

grealish should have been a spurs player for 25 million

contrary to reports that city would not include Sancho in the walker deal they are false we would not pay Sancho the wages he wanted, those were two huge errors

we are in this place because of levy horrific footballing decisions , no other CEO/MD would have lasted through this episode of vast incompetency

Good move for all parties involved.

TBF, it would make some sense to have Harry go on at least a season loan with obligation to buy. Big chunk for the loan fee, "slightly less" obligation.

That way, we can make it so he can't play against us, right? Everyone's a winner.

Kane might not get a payday, but he's not moving for that - right?

I wonder how badly Pep wants Harry or if this is something being driven by the owners. They really don’t need Kane. They also don’t need to spend circa 250m on two players. But I think this has a lot more to do with their global brand. No matter how much they win, they still aren’t that popular outside of the UK. Brand Kane can be a game changer for them on the business side. However, they may have an unhappy camper on their hands with Pep. He is a very good coach and has a massive ego. He refuses to accept that there will always be a de facto asterisk next to his name and accolades, as he has never managed a team that either didn’t have the most money in their respective league (Bayern & City) or some of the best players in the world already there (Barca). He always plays down how much City spends, as he knows how it reflects on him as a coach. So, you add 250m for only two players, he can’t pass the straight face test anymore with his ’but we don’t spend monopoly money on new players’. Which is why I think City aren’t or haven’t yet gone balls deep with an offer. As I wouldn’t be surprised if Pep isn’t aggressively pushing for him.

It would have to be a monster fee I feel otherwise it just looks so bad on us as a club, build a massive new stadium and have Levy and the board to talk for years about it being at the heart of everything and changing the culture of the club... to then go and sell Kane at some low valuation just because Man City are up to some tricks to lower the fee, it would be total embarrassment if we caved in.

Definitely taking a pinch of salt with this, because it seems like it retrospectively contradicts every other ITK we have.

Isn't Dragon supposedly not a fan of the owners?

It's obviously still not decided but I really hoped he wouldn't leave like this. I expected more from him.

After reading some of the vitriol directed towards Spurs and the arrogance of some fans on Blue Moon angry that Levy won’t let him go for £50 - £100 mil, I definitely want us to sell him overseas if he is determined to go.

My, how very frustrating and disillusioning it must be to have willingly signed a £200k p/w contract, enjoyed that fat pay rise, get halfway through, decide you want to leave, and then discover - shockingly - that your employer won't let you leave on the cheap.

The bastards! The sheer bare-faced effrontery of it all!

Kane should be upset with City, not us. Spurs literally pay your fucking wages mate. If anything, he should be wondering how much City really want him. Because it seems to be considerably less than he wants them.

No idea tbh

The Grealish and Sancho stuff is, out of nowhere, the opposite of what has been said before, which is convenient and a bit irrelevant.
Not sure how Poch wasn't backed in 2017, as that's the summer we seemed to get everyone he wanted - Davinson, Foyth, Llorente, Gazzaniga, and sold Walker who he definitely wanted out, as well as Bentaleb.

Players' loyalty bonuses should be forfeited the moment they breach their contract and refuse to train or play.
Even if it costs them £15 - 20m. That’s the real issue, greed over loyalty. That’s money enough for another player for Paratici to go and get.

I would love to shift the blame to Levy, and thats why i understand Harry's desire to leave, but he lost any right to be mad when he chose this route. Before 70-90% of fans would understand him wanting to leave, but now he lost everything he had going for him, now most fans(rightfully) will see him as purely cash and side with Levy stance against City. He was never my favorite player, but i never thought he would do something like this.

Me too as a Spurs fan through and through, if I had his ability I would want to fight an achieve all I could at my club, winning somewhere else would not be enough for me, I’d play for as long as I could for the club I love. I guess deep down I thought he was the same kind of fan, but as the days go by it seems less likely.

In regards to the info, we know all this, and we know Levy has completely fucked up the last 3 years of this football club. But it's done. Now we need to figure this out, and sharpish.

Sell, rebuild and let Paratici work on it. Either this summer or for next.

There's loads of opposition fans saying that Man City isn't a rival to Spurs,

Then who did we play in the final of the League Cup this year?

idiots
Who beat them in league last season? Who knocked them out of CL not so long ago....
