A lot of people are confusing his desires and his actions.

Harry can want to leave, that is fine. You can blame a number of people for what led to this. Levy, Poch, Jose, Kane and the players all take some blame for how we have not been successful enough.

His actions are solely at Kanes door, this sint Charlie, the media, City. This is all on Harry, he is turning his back on the club, his team mates, the fans with actions.

This attitude of he deserves better or that it is all down to Levy is wrong. His actions are detestable and lie solely at his door.

So I wonder what level of meltdown we are going to have if he doesn’t turn up today.

Not sure why this is getting so many shit ratings. You’ve got to ask yourself, what is Daniel Levy’s perfect scenario? And the answer is cashing out on a player at the height of his powers. With this comes a fan backlash. So to soften the blow, let the player take the hit. The ‘gentleman’s agreement’ was the perfect opportunity to do this. Multi-million pound contract with one of the most ruthless negotiators in the industry and you make a rookie error of not getting it all officially in writing? It’s almost like you gave your brother the gig instead of someone with experience. The Kane Brothers fucked up and Levy will now reap the benefits. That’s why he’s rich for signing deals, it’s his talent, his golden boot. Had Levy sold Kane without Kane particularly wanting the move, it’s clearly a cash grab. But now there are fans screaming ‘get him out’. Kane is screaming ‘get me out’. And Levy is laughing all the way to the bank again. It’s knocking down the Lane all over again. We wouldn’t let him do that to our sacred home. Until he played the Stratford card. Then we begged him to tear it down. We’re being played. Again. And it won’t be the last time.

I think he's going to have to make the best of a bad situation but I actually don't think selling Kane, or any other top player, is what he wants to do.
He would have to reinvest a serious amount of the Kane money; he won't just use it to service debt or inflate profits.
His perfect scenario is keeping these players and qualifying for the CL every year. Which was happening. Until he/Poch wanted different things.

If City do meet his valuation it will be on deadline day and we wont have time to get a replacement in so its going to be a disaster either way

Excactly, it worked out beautifully with Berba, Modric, Bale.

This is ENIC's Modus operandi.

I really struggle to understand why some of our base fall for it.

It’s not players wanting to leave my club that hurts most, I understand they have short careers and aspirations. Fair enough. What I do expect though is a level of respect, respect and responsibility.

Respect the youth coaches that for years showed belief in you, put in thousands of hours of hard work to making you a better player.

Respect the medical team and physios who spend their entire time making sure you are the fittest you can be and bringing you back from injury.

Respect the nutritionists and chefs that will be tailoring a diet just for you to keep you healthy

Respect the chairman who has shown faith to pay you enough money to see you, your kids and grandkids don’t have to worry about money for many years to come.

Respect your team mates who show dedication and helped you become the name you are today, this is a team sport

Respect your coach, he has just turned up and you show no respect to him by not even bothering to turn up to at least speak to him.

Most of all, respect your fans. You know the ones who turn up week in week out, cheering your name for 90 mins, the ones who spend countless thousands of hard earned cash to buy your shirt and watch you play. And don’t forget that 6 year old boy who goes to sleep every night with his Tottenham shirt with your name on the back, who idolises everything you do. The one who is now crying as he doesn’t understand why you have gone missing. You are his hero, his superman, his Batman. Don’t let him down.

I don’t personally hold a grudge, yet. Do the right thing, get your well paid arse into work, apologise to your team mates, your coach and your employer. Be a grown up and speak face to face with Nuno and Levy, explain your feelings face to face, if you want to leave still, hand in a transfer request and respectfully wait until a sufficient offer comes in. Whilst waiting, turn up to work, train like a pro and act with dignity and pride.

The fact Grealish rejected Man City is good for us - we then know they have 200m on two players... so now, fucking spend it on the one... for them its either Kane or nothing... for this season.

I am very surprised they havent gone straight in on Haaland or wait until next summer to get him for the 80m.

Incidentally, this is why real sports agents aren't as bad as people make them out to be.

Their experience and legal knowledge allow them to communicate with clubs and players, making sure that expectations are kept realistic and that everyone gets a good deal.

I've heard it said from multiple chairmen of clubs over the years that they're glad agents are involved, because without some sort of professional and legal representation, players would be signing all sorts of crazy deals and being represented by inexperienced family members, random friends or even gangsters. It would be like the wild west!!

Kane definitely needs a better agent; someone who isn't happy with 'gentlemen's agreements' and destroying the man's legacy at a club where he's considered a legend.

sorry I disagree,

no transfers to freshen up the squad for 2 years is down to one man and probabaly contributes to why he wants out as lack of ambition was outweighed by the need to make more profit

Totally. Raiola, Barnett, Mendes et al are horrible leeches but for the players they're incredible to have on your side of a negotiation because they don't leave anything to chance.

If they didn't take squillions out of the game and into their own pocket people would see them in a much better light.

Because he's a clueless oaf who is only making things worse. I mean I keep saying Charlie is a moron who doesn't know what he's doing, but Christ Harry is clearly the thickest of the two for continuing to employ the moron.

My take on this is that he wants to sort his brother out. He didn't want to give him any money directly, so he made him his agent as it would basically be the easiest money he'd ever make. Be an agent, take X%, do no real work. I get that.

But my God has that backfired.

I completely disagree with your analogy as WHL needed upgrading and the old ground was pretty much maxed out and couldn't be expanded. We needed a bigger and better stadium and what we've got will prove to be the best outcome we could have hoped for. It probably already would've been had we not had it empty for a whole year.
Levy needed a bigger stadium for money. Most fans were happy with the Lane until Stratford. Yay, we have a great big stadium. Have we a better football team? Sure, we can wait while we adjust and pay off loans, etc. Meanwhile over in the considerably smaller King Power the only thing they need to enlarge is the trophy cabinet. It’s all a lie. A con. A business deal. The Emperor is stark bollock naked football-wise and he’s tea bagging everyone with his gas-lit vision of being a top club.

Still can't believe a player who could have reached club legend status (if he isn't already) is forcing his way to a morally bankrupt club like City, likely ruining his reputation with fans and club in the process. The state of modern football unfortunately.

legends dont act the way he has! - he's been awesome for us! but hes fucked his legend status, same as bale & modric, both of them i can understand not having any emotional links to the club, but harry has fucked himself.

There was more from dragon1 wasn't there? (apologies if already posted)

"He had a gentleman’s agreement last summer he could go if offer over 100 came and we were not in the cl

we rejected city’s bid of 100 a month ago and Harry has been sulking since

daniel will dig his heels in now no way will they force a move for 100 now

150-160 we may have a conversation but will be under our terms

expect Harry to be fined two weeks wages"

ALSO

"romero is close now we expect it to happen next 48-72 hours

we bid for Vlahovic early summer but will go back now , we also enquired re Ings but saints still unrealistic

levy will dig heels in on Kane but view is need vlahovic as city may stump up the 150 plus for Kane or Kane may well go next summer"

IN RESPONSE TO "IMO we need 2 strikers"

" ha ha dream on they'll use son and do a million tweets of Dane Scarlett as one of our own "

dragon is a bit of tart isn't he!

For clarity- not this season starting in a few weeks but next season as still has quite a way to go.

God it’s sexy to see your name above a post again. Not even just the ITK, just good to know you’re still lurking captain.
