The thing about Kane and City, is that they would probably win the title without him anyway. So yes, he would enjoy lifting the trophy, any trophy and putting that medal around his neck, but his presence and goals would be irrelevant to that achievement.

Being the player that made the difference, without whom there would have been no victory is something else - for an example, our last FA Cup win in 91, was down to Gazza. Yes, lIneker played a part, and Paul Stewart, and others, but without Gazza it wouldnt have happened.

I wish Sky and Gary Neville would climb back on their ESL high horse for this one. We were drenched in the fluids of their anger and ire back in the spring when the European Super League reared its head, citing competitive unfairness and elitism as the twin monsters of the ESL that nobly needed slaying. And yet here they are, now salivating over this story, gilding it with their toss dribble journalistic gimmicks. Why aren’t you urging fans to boycott the Premier League when City have the financial power to undermine just about any club they like, not to mention laws that are designed to preserve some kind of principle of fairness, you absolute hypocritical fanny sleeves?

They had an article in the Mirror about Kane and quoted some lawyer saying that Kane's brother was 'naive' to think that a gentleman's agreement was enough to secure a move as a written agreement is better than a verbal one - no shit, I don't think that you need a law degree to realise that.

It's incredible really how much the media has been willing to keep bandying on about this 'gentleman's agreement' without any attempt to actually suggest what it actually means. Should the club just sell at whatever City want to offer? The media seem to be totally in the thrall of Manchester City and I've seen very few media sources that have seen it from the Spurs point of view.
There is a BBC post saying 'over to you, Spurs!' because Guardiola wants to negotiate and Spurs don't.

Ridiculous. Completely the wrong way round here. Over to you, Man City. As it has been from day one. Spurs don't have to do anything.

Why does Harry Kane only have sex once or twice a year?

He struggles with semis

Shit as, and pathetically spiteful but it’s Sunday and I’m pissy as a cat with ringworm

He was never ever going to play in the opening game against City, the team that is trying to pry him away from us, either for us or them. Would be too much of a media circus which would affect the players

Imagine the furore if he did and one of our defenders kicked him up in the air and buggered his ankle.

I hope if we do sell him this summer the club comes out with a transparent statement as to what happened this summer regarding him.

I admire your positivity and optimism mate, but I think we all know he's not going to have that song sung to him ever again. He was 'one of our own' but he's not any more, and he can only blame himself for that, not the club and certainly not the fans.

At this stage anyway, we don't even know if he'll ever play for us again.
.
Bold statement that bearing in mind how fickle supporters are. IF he plays again fans will sing it I’ll wager some money on it !

I most certainly won’t.

Not that it’ll come to pass anyway, 100% going now in my eyes. His games have worked. He has made his presence here untenable and we’ve got to back down. Was always going to happen

He has been an amazing player for us and stuck with us for a very long time when others would have just bolted. He has acted or been advised to act very foolishly here and has clearly scarred his reputation with the fans. Still appreciate his previous efforts and honestly thought he was gone this summer anyway.

But will he 100% miss the first game or is that media speculation. If he’s back today no reason why he can’t play next weekend? I’m guessing he’s done with the self isolation if he’s back at the training ground. Anyway let’s wait and see. No fine has been handed to him yet it seems.
Don't want him to play because i want a player who plays for the team, not a self centered idiot walking around not trying coz he wouldn't want to score against his new team. I don't believe a word of the shit his spinning.

Harry has played all his cards and as it turned out he had 2 8 (poker reference for the wtf ers)
After his last statement telling us all just how proffesional he is (lol) his only recourse is to knuckle down and get on with it and be the professional that he claims to be.
Now I am a spurs fan and as such I want what is best for spurs I couldn't give a flying fuck about anything else.

So with that in mind and the fact and it is a fact that we can not get a better striker than kane I see absolutely no point whatsoever in giving the kanes the only thing that gives them what they want and that's the fans have turned on me and its untenable for me to stay now because of the abuse me and my family are getting.

I'm not impressed with him and his shenanigans but I'd still rather have him here scoring and making goals than at a rival club.
The abuse is pointless and just going to end up giving him a cpl of aces under the table.

Exactly. Spurs wanting to join the ESL? Outrageous! The apocalypse! Anti competition! Yet Man City are effectively destroying competition and the media fall over themselves to help them.
