Good news for us IMO.

If Kane goes I'm pretty sure we'll get him, but no way we buy him whilst Kane is here.

Just worries me we are planning to just use Son/Scarlett as our back up striker options

.. Or.. Crazy idea, but do loan with option to buy. Give kane a new contract with a release clause at vlahovic fee (buy and loan costs) + healthy margin. Get a year from kane. Less pressure on vlahovic. And time to both learn, and, have less pressure. And spend the extra on so equality younger options from all the clubs that are broke (barca must have a few gems we could relieve them off for a decent upfront cash now fees..)

I still think the entire striker situation massively depends on whether Kane stays.

If he goes we'd probably look to sign 2 decent/high quality options to try and replace him (E.g. Vlahovic + Ings-level striker)

If he stays I can see us going cheap/loan and getting someone more like Vinicius - a proper backup.

Don't think we would rush to sign anyone up top until it was resolved either way.

Or we're waiting to see if we sell Kane and can get 2 more expensive strikers, if Kane stays we get a less expensive one

Paratici has to have a far cheaper option in mind if Vlahovic deal doesn't come off. There's no way he's leaves us with Son/Scarlett going into a 40+ game season

Its never been reported before that he was only dependant on kane leaving, we had reports Nuno wanted to play two up front aswell

Perhaps he meant it was complicated for Atletico Madrid, maybe we are the complication
