I think Gary Neville can indeed be a hypocritical bellend at times, but not sure what the problem is with him saying Utd should sign Kane? Seems like a fairly obvious thing to say to me, and I'm sure I've heard him say it about 10 times before over the years.

Don't pundits say shit like that all the time? If Jenas or Hoddle said, during comms on a Spurs match, "Spurs could really use someone like Raphinha at Leeds to provide a bit of creativity - he'd be a great signing for them" I wouldn't think twice.

Gary Neville is making a right cock of himself over Kane.

First he does that interview now saying Man U should buy him, what a bellend.

I used to think he was okay but he’s really gone down in my estimation.
He's a massive hypocrite.

Said sometime ago that it makes him feel uncomfortable talking about coaches getting sacked when everyone was suggesting Wenger should be fired. His reasoning was it's disrespectful to the coach and club.

Yet he was happy to talk up Poch for the United job and didn't put a lid on it when Tyler prodded him. He was happy to talk about that and be disrespectful to Tottenham and Poch.

He has gone in hard in Pogba numerous times for not being committed to United and seemingly wanting a move elsewhere.

Yet Kane does the same thing and he tries to find reasons to defend him.

He's now saying if Kane is available why aren't United after him?!

Well firstly, he's not available so he's being disrespectful to Tottenham suggesting he is. Secondly, he's being unprofessional, he's a pundit not an intermediary who gets to use live tv as a means to tap players up or get United fans into a frenzy and add pressure to buy a player.

He rightly criticised the European Super League yet is happy to encourage elite teams to become even more distanced from the rest of the league by signing the best players from other PL teams, as he even said United used to do.

Hypocrite

The Kane poll is hilarious and a sad reflection of us fickle fans … before Wolves game the poll was rest and it went 90%-10% in favour of Kane leaving. As soon as he played on Sunday it jumped 15% pts back in his favour as many of us changed our vote again!

I was about the write exactly this,. Why is it in anyone's interest to make the bigger teams so elite they are untouchable. Baffles me why the media are so desperate for this to happen.

Also, from one of their ITKs:
It reinforces the info coming from people close to Kane that Spurs are deliberately trying to mislead clubs over how much money they have to spend on their own targets.

I would actually not be surprised to see the actual Kane fee as undisclosed, with Sky Sources deciding to go with whatever figure they decide.

Charlie has clearly not learned his lesson yet...
