If they really wanted a race, as Masi put it, they would’ve red flagged it and gave all drivers a chance to be on equal tyres.

Masi and the FIA manufactured that result. It’s going to court. Without a doubt.

I wonder if Horner made some deal there with Masi. Do this for me, you get canned but I bring you in on higher pay. Kind of a “you scratch my back, i scratch yours” situation? That was absolutely absurd. As a neutral who just got into this thanks to a great documentary, I’m not sure I will watch anymore if a title can essentially be decided by a terrible driver & a race director making up rules as he goes along.

Just wow, I don't know what to say really. That was not motor racing as Masi himself said. It was just a show, a form of entertainment. No different than Wrestling. What a joke.

I certainly wouldn’t expect the same from Max and Red Bull.

Yeah I think you’re right, hamilton even stayed on the podium for the champagne popping and got a little bit involved. Max stormed off last GP if I remember right.

tbh, most of my dislike just stems from him being an Arsenal fan ?

From the few races I have seen, I think NASCAR does a green, white, checker in that situation. 3 laps out of a yellow flag & all lapped cars lass to the back. That’s a much better way to finish, IMO.

If they were going to let lapped cars through, they should have let all of them through. It is a manufactured outcome.

What’s the point of Formula 1?

WWE is less contrived. Absolute nonsense

Christian Horner very high on my list of people I’d like to smack! What a little smug ****

The issue is that the rules are so vague and poorly enforced, so what would CAS be able to do? They literally make up rules on the fly and only half apply them most of the time.

I found the making up of the rules ok in the last few races as the integrity of the sport was sort of maintained.

This was next level - exactly as you say, basically wrestling.

All cars are required to un-lap themselves apparently. So they just said on BBC

I truly believe this has all been influenced by the money Drive to Survive brings in. They wanted their final twist to make good television. I think they’ve gone too far this time.
