I think he's taking it way too far now and is being a bit of a dick tbh. Imagine Nuno said this with the exact same squad. We'd all ask what his job is if not to improve things.

We still piss on Mourinho for saying "same coach different players."

I totallya gree. A lot of what he is doing is what Jose was doing and we all berated him for it.

Look we know the squad is shit... tell them indoors - tell them theyre all shite and arent worth even ketchup. But you dont really need to go out to the media and say that shit. I dont get what the value is or the benefit that comes with that?

What is really annoyign me is the defeatist attitude... would Klopp act like that? No...

I fucking hate it and i cant accept it. I see a lot of give when it comes to Conte because people are worried he will ditch us, to be honest doesnt give him a pass for saying that shite... its like being with a girl who is saying dickish things to you but still sticking by her cos she is hot (i would do this by the way :))

We need someone to instill the feel good factor, someone who is going to be positive and energetic about things... even when the chips are down, we need someone to stop being damn negative and defeatist in public.

Unfortunately both Jose and Conte are both defending and or protecting their reputations especially as this club just ruins them.

Maybe they need to think about enhancing that reputation. If anyone can succeed with us - theyll be lauded as the best haha... like we are a beaten animal and neeed to 'rise' again.

Conte failing here wont have his reputation tarnished... but succeeding with us will heighten his reputation.

If he succeeds with us they will name a town after him.

Not a brilliant look this. FWIW I completely agree with him and couldn't understand the major positivity from some, but Conte is certainly airing the laundry is public atm.

"Four players left in January. Four important players for Tottenham, two have arrived. So even numerically instead of strengthening you you may have, on paper, weakened. Bentancur and Kulusevski are the ideal prospect for Tottenham. Because Tottenham is looking for young players, players to be developed, not ready players. This is the speech."

Im glad he's being so refreshingly honest, summer is going to have to be massive, to keep him happy.

Season starts earlier then usual too, so we'll have to do things sharpish.

this is pretty damning. i was happy with our business because it seemed like it was what conte wanted, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Eh that's a misleading selection of lines to quote.

Honestly I'm not sure it is? Have a look at the full quotes @synththfc has just posted and it's pretty clear he's not being positive. General gist is that he seems to have been wanting more experienced players but has now realised that the club are after younger projects.

My worst dread is that we piss ball about all Summer and then Conte walks in August. Worst of all worlds. For once the club needs a proper strategy.

Pretty sure this guy is a gooner so of course he's going to highlight the part that looks the worst.

I don't think this is anywhere as bad as what he is saying. Firstly it's not in English and translations can be real problematic, secondly I don't think he's saying it's a problem, more that this is the reality.

It was no secret that he wanted a RWB, CB and a CM. We only got one and shifted 4 players that weren't having the desired impact. I would have preferred only Dele and TND to go. I thought GLC and Gil could have easily done a job the second half of the season.

Of course, these comments now will be dramatised but in reality, can we even argue with what he's stating?

The irony is, anyone could look at our transfers over the last 5 years and see that is clearly our strategy and always will be.

We kinda bucked that trend under Mourinho though. Issue was the calibre of player we sign is utter shit regardless of their age/experience
