Simply put, its very difficult to be happy with the January window. We didnt improve, period. We lost depth. We needed an RWB, a CB & 2 CM’s to be honest. What we did not need was a winger/am. Diaz was an opportunity we couldnt miss. But we got done & panic’d. Where the fuck was the plan? Ridiculous. And I am glad he’s calling it out. The board deserves the pressure he is giving them. And I dont care that he says the players are shit. They are fucking shit. Half of them should have been sold 3 fucking years ago! Some of our fans are all to quick to feed into the narrative the club wants. Newsflash, all the problems right now are of the clubs own doing. It is high time they are called to account.

And is it possible to grow with such players and not with ready players? At Inter, to fill the gap you mentioned, you asked for ready players.

Yes, in fact, this was the link. This is the vision, the philosophy of the club. It is inevitable that if you want to grow faster and if you want to be competitive more quickly you need players with a lot of experience because then they will increase the experience in your team. But again, the vision of the club I understand is this.

Depending on what side of the fence you're sat on, you're going to interpret this differently. My interpretation is that he's saying that he's adapting and is willing to work with players who might not have the experience he's accustomed to signing. He's gone on and on about fans showing patience, even while we were winning and before the TW closed. This could be him reiterating that it will take time for us to see real success on the pitch, but it doesn't suggest that he's not happy being here to see it through imho.

The fact that they're shit and on high salaries is the reason we haven't sold them.

Got to be honest, really thought it would take until at least October to break the man down.

If these quotes are genuine then it really isn’t good at all that he is in this kind of mood already.

Conte is known for moaning about the board in the media. He's literally done it at ALL of his jobs. Doesn't necessarily mean he's thinking of leaving. He's just very demanding. I'm not really concerned.

The beginning of the end. Don’t bother renewing season tickets peeps, unless it’s the food and drink you go for.

Said it before, if he gets a sniff he is not going to be backed or we are going to dawdle ahead of the summer window, he'll check out and have one foot out the door before the season ends imo. Paratici will probably go with him to.

Have had very little faith in Levy and ENIC for a while now and unfortunately see nothing changing under them. The Poch years feel like an anomaly.

At this rate the board won't break him... the fans will... sadly.

Anyone feel like this is only going to go one way and by that I mean we will have the same summer as we did last summer... and a player search wont be the only thing that will be carried out

I wasnt aware of the quotes until now - I just dont see why he is sayign these things WE CANT CHANGE ANYTHING NOW... we couldnt change much last January - we had to lay some of the groundwork for next summer.

Conte is just doing what every top manager does, if you listen to them.

He's preparing excuses to deflect from any reputational impact. Pep, Klopp, Mourinho...all done it pretty regularly.

This has all suddenly changed since people have started clocking on to poor squad selection and tactics, so it's not really a hot take.

All we need now is for Conte to walk, Levy to panic and get Poch back, then fail to back Poch and see him tarnish his legacy.

Think I’d be done with Tottenham if that played out.

Conte behaving like he is doing us a favour doesn't sit well with me.

Good manager wrong time.

I agree with you and not sure why some disagree with you. I mentioned that I think he has come one manager too soon and by that will build a team and squad over time... Conte is like the finisher...
