Conte going public early with the 5 sub rule saying we need a better squad for it

Great to hear. Put the pressure in early doors

We all knew it but how fucking absolutely world class is Conte?!! Sure Bentancur and Kulu in Jan have made a big difference but the way we are playing it is so obvious how incredibly well coached this team is and how comfortable they all feel with the tactics and positioning etc, give Conte 3-4 top signings in summer to further strengthen the team/squad and we could be seriously good next season.

This team (admittedly with 2 additions) couldn't muster up a shot on target in 3 straight matches just 5 months ago.

Give him the keys to the club and let him drive.

Has to the best managed game by Conte so far. The wonky full-back setup had me worried but they both ended scoring goals and looked solid against the Newcastle attack. Also, the subs were perfect. All 3 did their respective jobs with little to no fuss and even helped with getting us another goal. I feel more confident going into our remaining 4 fixtures this month, given how much time Conte will have to prep for each game.

I would put down a grand bet on Conte staying for a couple of seasons.
(PS…I never really bet).
But I think Conte is actually really enjoying a challenge he hasn’t necessarily exposed himself to before.
I really feel he’s enjoying nurturing an underperforming side into Top 4 contenders.
I really feel he’s getting enormous enjoyment from elevating good players into great players.
It may just be a sense of achievement and coaching brilliance that he hasn’t ever experienced before.

I actually think he’s really enjoying himself and exceeding his previous expectations.
It’s a different project.
I think both he and Kane will stay.
Their fates and legendary status are intertwined.

When he has time to prepare for opposition his teams usually win. Chelsea winning the league with him when they were out of CL makes total sense. Losing in Cups will help us massively in top 4 push.

He's just got us working to his instructions.

On midfielder presses ahead of the strikers, and one cb tries to win the ball high.

Clear identity in the team now... its as if it clicked a few weeks back. Think with better players on the wings and a couople of back ups - the structure and identity will be hugely effective.
