What are many countries going to call petrol? Plus there will be a lot of confused scientists and teachers.

Means the same as when someone says they have run out of steam.

Outraged for the sake of being outraged. Others have said what "gassed' means. Lots of things have different meaning dependant on context, stop being cantankerous and obtuse.
