He has had his chance under different managers and hasn't put in the graft.
Now he is saying he doesn't want to put extra pressure in himself... Conte won't want that mentality.

I would say his influence on our squad is a detractor this season when Conte is shaping his team and trying to fully instill his work ethic and personality. If we are able to tell ndombele to stay at home if he can't find a loan then we should.
The mindset of the squad seemed to improve after he and Lo Celso left. We can do without the negative and lazy vibes in the squad for sure.

Not putting pressure on yourself is what you try to instil in 8 year old girls before their “dance” show

Not a 200k a week elite sportsman.

The man has absolutely taken the piss. Bye bye please

I actually get irritated by seeing people holding out for Ndombele. And it really feels like deja vu seeing videos of him “putting the effort in” and showing off his amazing skills and incredible work ethic.

I don’t have any hatred or any ridiculous feelings like that which some fans do, but he’s had so many chances and he is just going to be another wasted talent like Taarabt, Ben Arfa and to some extent Adebayor.

I have no hope he’ll turn anything around this season and I just want to see him go

He might be one of the least Conte players in the world. The things Antonio prizes most, intensity and grit and positional and tactical discipline, are the exact things that Ndombele lacks most. At his best, he’s a completely instinctual player, who floats about the pitch popping up with a moment of magic here and there. There’s room for that player in a lot of systems, but not a Conte system. I’ll be floored if he’s even remotely considered an option, and that’s even if he wasn’t considered a disruptive influence, which given that we loaned him midseason with a threadbare squad I think it’s clear how Conte feels there.

Lot of noise from the Turkish side on this one. Ndombele is apparently one of Galatasaray’s top targets.

If he hadn’t slowly strolled off the pitch when the clock was ticking down I MIGHT be swayed to give him another chance but he did and he showed that he doesn’t have the right mentality.

Now that things are looking up I wouldn’t be surprised if he wants to play for us again but what’s the point having a player that only wants to put an effort in when the team is performing? We only want players who are going to give it everything no matter what.

I’ll support anyone who wears the shirt but I’d be gobsmacked if he was in Conte’s plans.

He was boo’d off the pitch last time he played and we have 4 CM’s. He won’t be playing a minute for our club again, it’s just a question of if we sell him or loan him again.

Guy is a joke, shouldn't be anywhere near the squad and I pray he doesn't travel to Korea.

The problem is, who would actually want him?!

The quicker we get rid, the better.

If Galatasary are interested maybe Levy should do the same deal Madrid did with Jovic at Florentina. Free transfer with 50 percent of any future transfer fee coming to us.

It’s a shame but true. I wish he could show the intensity that we want and expect to see but he has his way and it doesn’t look like that’s changing. Even IF it’s just an appearance of lack of effort, you’d imagine that you’ve heard it enough to make it look like you are putting in a shift. He just keeps doing exactly what he has always done and even with the potential to do something different on loan he didn’t apply himself to the standard required.

Unpopular opinion but…

There’s a part of me that is thinking that we are holding off on an AMF atm because we are going to give Tanguy one final look in Korea….

You have a 60m asset, may as well try and get something out of him, he reported for pre season and let’s just hope the penny has dropped with him. He can be part of an elite squad under an elite coach, or he can get fucked off to Galatasaray or some pisspot European side, which surely he won’t enjoy….

Ability wise he’s one of the best I’ve seen, on the ball, since Berbatov…if he can learn to apply even 70% of that, you leave yourself with a hell of a player.

He has proven he can do it in the prem, with some very good performances. It’s fanciful I know, but a small part of me hopes that he really pulls it together…

After his comments about “maybe I can be happy I’m Tottenham” the other day, it’s the first summer where him and his entourage aren’t pining for a move elsewhere.

If he goes and bosses it in pre season I really wouldn’t be surprised to see him stick around, or at a minimum, find a suitor for next season..

We all knew he was talented, but he fucking hovers now? All casual like with hands on hips too?

I know he only turns it on when he wants, but come on, you lot are a tough crowd. He's not only trying, he flying ffs.

We should start a Tottenham 5 a side at the local goals. Make him the captain and let the local roadmen have their way with him

I’ve been underwhelmed by this signing tbh
You and me both pal.
Thought we were getting the next superstar- ended up with this petulant child!
Don't care where, for how much, nor for how long- as long as he leaves our club ASAP
(if this comes back to bite me in the future as he turns it around great- but I strongly doubt it!)

Tbf this was a Spurs Community signing. Literally hundreds of you begged for this to happen. Look what you did ?. Let’s hope we can move the waster on now? Not mobile enough, not psychically strong enough or mentally. Basically a bit of a pussy. You knew after he got tackled he was gonna stay down for a while and mope around afterwards. Big Jessie
