Might be a stupid question but is it “bed rest” with concussion suspicion or is he allowed to continue with his fitness but avoiding physical contact if it’s a minor/precaution thing?

Depends on how severe symptoms like headache and dizziness are. A bad concussion can leave a person with serious headaches, sensitivity to light ect. for weeks.

so we're going to keep sarr now because bentancur might be out for a week.
this does seem very strange. It's highly likely that two of our midfielders will be injured (in this case skipp and now bentancour), have knocks or need a rest at the same time this season. odd that this prospect has suddenly hit them and that Sarr is off the market. Odd as in, not the case. We aren’t taking him off the market because bentancour is out for a week.

More likely, we were looking to let him go, like Gil, if a replacement came in but now that replacement target has fallen through.

I must have missed what happened for him to be concussed, must have nipped to the loo or a top up! Was it an elbow or something?

It would be good if you made an effort to spell his name correctly.

I suspect it's also because we actually have a suitor for Winks as well.

Whilst Winks was already in the "out" list if we lose two of our CM he's the natural option on the bench and Sarr goes on loan. But since Winks has his move to Sampdoria we would need an extra body to cover

It was a ball where he was challenging for a header, hard to see if it was a clash of heads (but Forest player didn’t go down) or an elbow , but they didn’t show any replays.

Wonder if he had acted quite groggy given that the Doctor was adamant he wasn’t allowed back.

Where we show our depth. Had this happened last season, Winks would be about to get a recall. Now we turn to Bissouma.
but bissouma isn't enough. Conte wanted 3 midfielders to see the game out on sunday.
With bentancur off, spence was asked to run about a bit up front instead.

I would have much preferred winks coming on. Or Sarr. Or one of the other players loaned out.
I'm not seeing this depth we think we have, other than at RWB and up front.

Prefer Spence to Winks, and Skipp is back soon. We also have Sarr White and when fit Devine.
Winks is an ex Spur now, I wish him well, but he's played his last game for Spurs

Apologies that annoyed you so much that you had to post. stupid yet honest mistake... I have a terrible memory for spelling and ability to turn phonics into correct English spelling (compounded for 'our' vs 'ur' at end of words following emigration to the US). It's likely I lie somewhere in the oft undiagnosed end of the mild dyslexia spectrum. I do try to make an effort, but in conversational fora, like this, sometimes it's just a huge ball ache to feel like I have to check every word I type that doesn't get captured by spell check.

I prefer bentancur to all of those. And Skipp has it all to prove again.
If conte wanted to rest hojbjerg tonight, who might he trust to partner bissouma in a derby game? He will look at that bench as he did last season, and think I dont fancy any of them.
In theory bentancur could be out for a month, and already we dont have easy rotation options. In theory, the window is not yet closed of course.
