It’s quite clearly not a black and white issue; get rid of Conte = Better football nor does removing Levy from his duties suddenly mark an upturn in us spending frivolously.

However it’s clear that we need a degree of certainty going forwards and that means commitment from the board to back Conte’s demands in the transfer market and not veto or offer up sub standard alternatives and equally for Conte to commit to the club and sign the contract, laying down the foundations going into the summer and beyond.

This instability is permeating through this club and manifesting on the pitch. This cannot continue if we still retain any ambition for this season.

Arsenal’s has been just as bad in recent weeks but because they play a progressive and tactically competitive style of football everyone forgets.

Everyone forgets how long Arteta has had to implement that style of football and that it’s ONLY JUST started to kick in for them in his season.

I hear all that. This is on ENIC! Sorry!
You don’t bring in a manager like him, and don’t really back him. We sll know what kind of manager he was before we took him on.

And thats why he should never have been bought in, same with Jose to be honest. So yeah, I agree, Enic have to be held to account in bringing him here to begin with.

From a playing perspective, Conte however should still be doing better than coaching and putting out a team that has conceded first in the last 10 games. Conte should be doing better than coaching a team to be out there today having - two shots on target is it?

Yeh but there were signs of what Arteta was trying to implement ages ago with the high pressing. Even at our best personnel wise we are a limited passive mid block team.

It’s Jol’s fault, it’s Harry’s fault, its Poch’s fault, it’s Jose’s fault, It’s Conte’s fault.

None of them where perfect but if Levy managed Levy he would have sacked Levy years ago. Until there is accountability at the top their won’t be any real accountability below.

Spot on, the board needs to commit to backing him and he needs to commit as well. If either of these doesn't happen just move on.

Well that is partly his fault. We’ve spent 200m since he arrived in two windows. He needs to take some of the blame for the failure of our summer window.

yes but that just shows how bad we are, we bought some players but still have huge gaps because of previous terrible windows.

I don't think he lost the dressing room. I think the players lost the confidence in the club and with how the board treat Conte with such indecisiveness and empty promises. The players know football more than the running of business, they know how good Conte is I'm sure. If a manager of his calibre is not even guaranteed promises by the club, they will just lose their heads and spirits and desire to perform for the club.
So Levy has lost the dressing room then?
Im not buying it.

Look on our bench for fak sake
That’s only relevant when we are losing..look at the 1st 11. We had one shot on target before they scored…that’s on the poor football they are playing and villa being well organised.. blaming the bench doesn’t explain why last seasons gold boot winner has scored in one of 17 games

We need to pick a manager and stick with them.

Jose would have had us winning things by now.

Conte will have us winning things eventually.

No manager in the world is coming in to win things under this chairman and with this group of players. None. Not one.

They need time and they need backing, even if things have to get worse before they improve.

Look what’s happening down the road for examples.
Jose is done,he's got Roma sitting 7th in the table, he was not the manager to back
