To be fair, it's equally embarrassing to harass the social media team with ENIC out bollocks.
If I were a social media manager for any blue tick business or sports team the first thing I'd do is turn off comments on all posts. People, especially on Shitter, are just embarrassing.

Isn't it. Jose was falling out with them all the time, and I mean all the time.

Knowing Levy it's probably because they are all on 10 year contracts to "protect the club".
This can’t be uncommon though.

The manager is always going to want key players back at the first opportunity, whereas the medical staff’s priority is the player’s health and avoiding a reoccurrence of the injury.

Maybe the problem is the medical department is too risk averse, but a manager is always going to want to push the recovery timescale if they can.

IIRC Jose's main issue was that he thought they were too friendly with the players and so wouldn't always just give an outright clinical medical opinion, but then Jose had form for this from Chelsea so who knows.

Just seen the full press conference.

Difficult to tell if he’s just prickly and frustrated with the journos misinterpretation of his quotes, the club situation, or a combination of both.

He certainly seemed quite agitated.

I keep hearing this Conte won't commit stuff so I'll post again what I did a few weeks back that must have been missed by some.

They were talking about a long contract before Ventrone passed, then when the talks resumed Levy had changed a few things making it easier(cheaper) to shift Conte out if required, so Conte basically said fair enough but it has to work both ways. The last I heard Conte was willing to commit to a rolling one year contract with us still retaining the option for a second season giving us that little bit of security that we could trigger it at any time. that was a few weeks ago and I've heard nothing since but it certainly isn't the case that he wasn't willing to commit to anything.
Moving goalposts to save a few pennies ultimately probably costing us many pounds? Doesn't sound like the Levy we've come to know. Seriously you would think he would have learned by now, he can't help himself...

His general persona is a wee bit defensive and guarded, a bit like his football

Say what we want about ENIC and some of the players , but what is Contes excuse for us losing 2-0 away at forest with a strong side , conceding in ten games straight (all comps) and going a goal down in 7 straight premier league games as well as turgid football and playing a system constantly knowing it isn’t working

Bro, they just don't know his system. They aren't his players. He just needs 14 elite-level players... then we might be able to beat Brentford and Villa.

I'm glad you've asked the question as it was clearly the elephant in the room.

Does he? I never read that. He basically says i'm happy here but it doesn't mean he will stay because he could get sacked or things could change. I've heard many managers say that. Doesn't mean there is a problem. It's just realistic in knows that a managers position is never safe.

I have just watched the press conference and as always it comes across a lot different to when you read it. He comes across as exasperated and fed up that he is kept on asking every week whether he is happy or not. But what should have happened is then someone should have asked "why haven't you signed a new contract then if you are happy?"

You may well be right. Let's see if he is questioned further about is contract in the written section released tonight. Could be interesting.

4.45 onwards below for the best bit

Levy isn't going anywhere, and it's pivotal that our key personnel is completely invested and pulling in the same direction.

I truly espect Conte to still continue talking to him. That instance when Levy mentioned about lowering any compensation upon firing, Conte should just slap Levy left right with this season CL gate receipts. Last season achievement was no mean feat and there this shameless chairman was so unappreciative and burning the bridge when he should be shoving more cash for Conte to build on. Unbelievably small time for such a successful business man. ?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️

Maybe. I know it looks like I'm just defending Conte non stop but the real reason I'm doing that isn't because it's specifically Conte. It's because we can't keep doing this and expecting different results. At some point we have to just accept things will be rough in the short term but the whole ethos has to change, and Conte is probably one of the few men that can actually enforce that change. It's definitely fair to say he underestimated the job he was taking on and he's having to fight harder than he should need to to get what he needs, but he is still here and he's still fighting to get it. Why would he be if his plan was to fuck off in 6 months time?
And im onboard with you. I would be very happy if he committed and took us to another level. But Im sick and tired of some people pretending like what hes putting out there isnt shit. Yes, its completely unrealistic to win the league atm. Maybe even top 4. But its realistic yo be able to compete with inferior teams and not to be overrun game after game. Thats how low my standards are at this point.
