Yeah. It's his talent and unique set of attributes. His injuries also have held him back. But I definitely can see why we want him l, and arguebly he is a better fit for the PL than serie A, but also it doesn't fill me with massive excitement.

What are his unique attributes? Genuine question, as I've watched him a fair bit and he's moderately skilful and good at carrying the ball forward. His decision making doesn't seem amazing and his passing seems OK, but he's hardly a playmaker.

I think most people want him mainly because they believe Conte wants him. There’s nothing wrong with that of course - it usually makes sense to give a manager players he wants. I’m not sure people would be so bothered about signing him if Conte leaves though.

...Originally they didn't want him at all, ever, not with a barge pole. Then very quickly the transfer is off, 50/50 or the player is linked with a different club, then we all go batshit crazy that we may not get him. Que Levy bashing etc etc.

Weirdly Jose seems to tell the truth when it comes to his teams potential outgoings , although a prediction coming true does stroke his ego ofc.
So Zaniolo looking likes it’s off as expected it’ll likely only be Danjuma and Porro (TBC ?) for us.
Hoping that if we can offload Gil or Tanganga then we could sign another AM or CB so we sign 3 not 2 but let’s see.

I would be very unhappy if we're to offload Gil just as he was starting to show signs of settling.
He's been doing some good stuff lately unlocking deep defences.
