I think most teams are a better side than us at the moment . But fact is, they are 4 points ahead of us in what is meant to have been a great season for them and a terrible one for us. They're out of the Champions League and they've enjoyed a purple patch which has coincided with Rashford's good form. It's fine margins and one that can easily change. If they signed Kane I still don't think the rest of their squad is anywhere close to the quality of City, and Liverpool and Chelsea won't be as bad as they have been this season. I still see United as a team challenging for top 4 and anything more than that is a bonus for them.Fact is, United are currently a better side than us, with a clear idea and strategy. And now imagine them upgrading Weghorst with Harry Kane. They surely should be up there as a challenger in that case.
Hurts to say it because a few years back we were on a way better track than them.
I'm sure if we sold Kane that we'd fall away from that pack chasing top 4 but I don't think he would propel United beyond that.
