Villa are dominating but we still have had the ball quite a bit. We keep trying to play long balls over the top trying to beat the high line buts it’s very predictable and Villa can see it coming a mile off. We must have tried it 6/7 times. Mason really needs to add some more variation to our attacking patterns in the second half.

Just take Porro off and play 4-3-3 with Kulusevski tucking in to the midfield. Really not hard to work out, we've been over-run in the middle all season.

As a collective it's hard to believe there is anywhere approaching full commitment to this game. Players strolling around, zero closing down, zero intensity. They're not trying very hard.

He’s a really really good manager. Id take him in a heartbeat. Miles better than anyone else on the list.

had literally zero defense at Arsenal and they weren’t patient enough to let him bring the young guys through.

he’d be insane to leave Villa for us though at this point.

Emery has tactical knowledge. And Villa are executing in perfectly. We have no tactical noise and are looking terrible.
Lucky to be 1-0. But we can’t be worse.

Hojbjerg is the main issue. Everybody seems to avoid that just because he seems to be a leader. I tried to defend him until Bentancur's injury. It highlighted how limited he actually is and was carried all along by Bentancur. I'm really worried no one see through that and Hojbjerg remains next season. He needs to be gone for our game to be dynamic. Had enough of him.

The offsides are coming through long balls as we’ve got no creativity in the midfield. I think that makes it more difficult to judge the line.

Could be our worst 45 minutes of the season, and there is some competition for that. Absolutely nothing in that half. No effort, no control, no tactics. Zero shots. Lucky its only 1-0. Villa don't look all that either.

Why are we playing this lopsided, shite formation that evidently is confusing the players just to accommodate Porro when he’s, in his current state, a complete and utter liability in our own half of the pitch?
