Yeah meeting obviously happening today where I think it's likely they will strike a deal for Kane. As has been mentioned before, they like to finalise the deal in person so speaks volumes they're both flying across for the meeting today.

Richarlison has impressed Ange in pre season and he feels he can bag plenty of goals for him so I would say the likelihood is we bring both VdV & Tapsoba in followed by an exciting young talent who can play across the front three.

This seems like the best outcome to me. Maybe an unpopular view, but I think we could come out of this stronger overall.

If and that's a big if going by how Tottenham do things, we sign the two centre backs then I'll be happy.

People do realise how much money we missed out on this year but dropping out of CL right? If we let Kane go on a free next year but he’s the difference between CL or not then that’s far better than getting £80m for him now. There’s a risk both ways but it’s not a clear cut financial decision.
60m - 70m if we were to make it to the knockout stages. So not taking 80m for him means we’d have to do at least that for it to be worth it from a financial viewpoint. Only time we’ve ever earned more than 80m from the CL in one season was when we get 88m for reaching the final.

We finally have a manager that I believe values giving it a real go.

I loved Poch, but he showed us he saw even the FA Cup as a minor thing. Which culturally is fair, not all domestic cups being equal globally. But man, we really should have won one then.
Disagree, weve not been in an FA Cup final since 1991.

This is going to sting.

Arguably our greatest ever player .

The sting is a lot less painful for me, having endured the last four years of nothingness with Kane leading the team. I'm not saying that's his fault, but it proves that we can still be crap even with arguably our greatest-ever player starring in the team. That's why I don't think it's the be-all, end-all. I'm more excited about Ange sending us out to have a proper go than I would be of years more of having Kane playing under Mourinho, Conte etc type managers.

Still wonder why we have not finalised at least either vdV or Tapsoba by now. We need a new CB anyway and both can not rely on the sale of Kane? Especially now Wolfsburg and Lverkusen will know we have a lot of money available. So optimistic me hopes these deals are already in place, but dont think so...

I love how everyone just pretends that there wasn't already a face to face meeting in London between Bayern officials and Levy, and that it didn't even lead to a bid, let alone signalled the finalising of the deal, but this meeting definitely can only mean one thing despite all the rumours saying their bid is still gonna be way too low for us.

I really don't believe that signing a centre back relies on the sale of Kane.

This would be absolutely the best case scenario - if I'm honest, I think it's unlikely, because we have a history of not getting the best case scenario.

But under the circumstances I'd be absolutely delighted with that

On the verge of a meeting suggests things are getting closer than they were last week when they were on the verge of making their 3rd offer.

Yeah at this point I think it is pretty much nailed on Kane is a goner. The fact Levy is meeting Bayern in person after they have already had a couple of offers rejected tells me an agreement is close.

Yeah it's going to be rough.

On the positive side, if he does leave, at least we're undergoing something of a revolution under Ange and there's a degree of hope about life after Kane.

If Kane had left under a manager like Nuno we'd have been utterly fucked and I would've been far more miserable about it.

It not the be all and end all but I suspect when we see him holding up their shirt reality about how special he is to us will hit many of us

Is there a possibility that Levy moves the goal posts? The deal cannot be for less than £100m sterling.
