Kane imposing this deadline is great news.
I think only Kane could do that if he's given the chance to go on a freeCould also possibly rule out Chelsea next year on a free for Kane
Where has it said he is setting a deadline mate?Kane imposing this deadline is great news.

Dan Kilpatrick I thinkWhere has it said he is setting a deadline mate?
Atleast the PR on his side looks a lot better with that statement. Looks as if he has the clubs best interests in mind.OK well this would seem to be the first briefing coming out from Kane's camp.
Really don't think Kane is that fussed. Sure he's open to speaking to Bayern if they can agree a fee, but he's not gonna push. And to my mind, Bayern seem way short to get it done.
Tbh it’s the perfect media release for Kane. He looks like he cares, whilst putting pressure on Bayern and Levy (if he wants a fee). Worst case scenario for him, it doesn’t work and he’s a free agent next year, with all the freedom in the world.I think you're probably right about this. Although Kane setting a deadline could be a tactic to put pressure on Levy. For all we know, Levy may prefer selling to letting Kane walk on a free but is determined to push Bayern to the end of the window. Kane putting it a deadline on it could scupper that.
More likely to put pressure on both clubs. Let’s not forget that while Levy would rather sell than let Kane walk, Bayern are equally motivated to make a deal happen this window. Everyone has some skin in the game.I think you're probably right about this. Although Kane setting a deadline could be a tactic to put pressure on Levy. For all we know, Levy may prefer selling to letting Kane walk on a free but is determined to push Bayern to the end of the window because he sees that as the best chance of getting the highest fee. Kane putting a deadline on it could scupper that.
If it wasn’t from a Spurs journo I’d be more inclined to believe it. Honestly think it’s a game of chess at the moment with both sides trying to get the best deal possible.“If he does stay put this summer, Kane is prepared to negotiate a contract extension with the club during the early months of the upcoming season if they show significant progress on the pitch under Postecoglou.”
Hard to tell if this a PR line or there is truth to it. What is certain there is no way we convince him to stay if we don’t properly invest in some defenders as we will be torn apart without them. If there is truth to it then Levy needs to loosen the purse strings and pay the money needed to put the squad in the best possible shape…. Which we all know won’t happen.
I actually think Kane is handling this the right way. He doesn't want to look like he's forcing his way out of the club, I couldn't see him handing in a transfer request for example. He knows that if he stays for one more season he will likely get the best financial offers and from more teams including options to stay in England in the PL.Really don't think Kane is that fussed. Sure he's open to speaking to Bayern if they can agree a fee, but he's not gonna push. And to my mind, Bayern seem way short to get it done.
