Surely if Bayern have been coming in for Kane time and time and time again, Kane must have already agreed on personal terms and is ready to move. If Kane rejects the move after all this time that would be epic egg on their faces

My sincere apologies. I went by what I heard last night. Not doing that again. Sorry for getting hopes up. I was convinced. And went against my cautious nature
No need to apologise. We are all grateful to you for sharing information and understand how fast things can change in a murky situation like this.

10 or so pages behind, can’t catch all them up. Is this perhaps not a case of knowing the figure was reached last weekend, but all played down whilst we sourced our incomings?? Assuming Kane agrees to the move.
I don’t see how replace like for like, so can see more value in investing in potential.

Edit. Just seen the comment about a player with potential now to bridge the gap, then try and get Ivan Toney. That would work for me,
Quality CB, Tapsoba/Sutalo/Schurr
Possible Hojbjerg replacement in Douglas Luiz
Forward with potential, Gift Orban/Marcos Leonardo, maybe also a punt on Fati, loan with option.
Ivan Toney

Ultimately a downgrade on Kane, but a more rounded squad as a whole, about as good as it’s going to get.

IF he does go then, Orban a RW and another CB and I think we will come out of it ok but it’ll take some time for us to adapt to no Kane life.

I’d still far rather he stays but if Kane, Lloris, possibly PEH and/or Dier are moved on then we really would have an entirely new fresh chapter with the whole ‘leadership’ group of the last 5+ years being dismantled which tbh is probably a good thing.

How the fuck is this the clubs fault..its Kanes..
You're right Kane himself should have gone into the transfer market and built a winning side around himself after training. The guy has given us everything bar a few weeks two summers ago.

and 100 mill is bollox of the highest order....what choice did the club have though
Kane running his contract down is down to the shit decisions at boardroom level with the last how many managers? how many rebuilds has Harry gone through now? Levy will tell you he has backed managers but the players on the whole brought into the club haven't been of the correct level needed. I mean there is alot else to be said about it but on the whole we haven't been getting better and more competitive since Poch left. Having said all that I still dont get Bayern Munich, its a 2 team league, it doesn't make sense.

If this is true then I think DL has played it quite well - got a good fee and made it clear that the decision to stay or otherwise is now Kane's.

Kane is now the one who has three choices... leave the club now, leave the club in a year and cost us 100m or commit.

Levy's called his bluff I think, I think Levy by accepting the deal, has put the pressure on Kane because I think he knows Kane wants to stay really but he wants the leverage of not signing a new deal. He's trying to remove that leverage by having Kane turn down Bayern.
I'd put a lot of money on the fact that Harry and his reps agreed terms with Munich at the start of all this (likely going into months ago now), he's been a wonderful servant to the club but he clearly wants to leave so IMO there is no leveraging going on here.

This bill was always going to come due and it has finally arrived at the table.

We've recently bought Maddison, Bentancur, Kulusevski, Udogie, Bissouma, Sarr, VdV, Solomon, Porro, Vicario etc. and you still want to question if Levy will spend wisely? I think he's doing OK personally.
Not sure reasoning and perspective will be welcomed by the pitchfork crew

The Premier League literally starts tomorrow.

Some people think this is a good decision and not negligence?

Got to be joking.

People will have differing opinions on this - and that's fine. There isn't a "right" way to feel.

A couple weeks ago when we were linked to Kolo Muani I was a lot more calm about Kane possibly leaving, but since we’ve heard names like Ansu Fati, Brennan Johnson and Gift Orban which would be pissing the Kane money up the wall on injured/average players or punts that are more likely not to work out because it’s a colossal gap in class between the Belgian league and the PL. If it’s someone like Kolo Muani and Orban, sign me up, but any plan that involves relying on Orban panning out is a foolish one IMO

Haven't you heard, we're sharing the goals around this year
