He will cry bitter tears when we win the PL this year. 🌈🚀🎇

Good luck in Germany Harry! Wish you all the best. And so glad he is not in another PL team.

He wanted to go, this is the best thing we could have hoped for.

On replacing him

I don't think there's a like for like replacement for Harry. We've been planning for this for a while to be fair. It doesn't take too much investigative work to know that this was going to happen. Our business up to now reflects that.
I don't think it works that way [giving Daniel Levy a list of strikers to get]. It's not like the family shopping list to go and get milk and bread for the kids. My whole strategy has been that Harry was unlikely to be around so it wasn't like we had a pow wow this morning. With that said, we are looking into the likes of Lukaku so we’ll see what comes of it.

That last line may not be true.
almost gave me a heart attack

Fuck me, you'll really read anything into anything.

He also says SO FAR. But you miss those words because you want it to say the money has already been spent.

He's been clear he wants to bring in further/other players - I know everyone is sensitive but please God nothing is pointing to us not doing anything further.

It's hardly worth reading too deeply into Ange's comments regarding having spent/not yet spent the Kane transfer money. If we plan on making more business, which you have to assume Levy will need to do so save some face, saying you've got a 100m war chest is one of the more asinine things you can do.

Ange confirming the business spurs have done has been with Kane leaving in their minds. Sickening
Ange is all class. Love his approach to this. It’s no moaning, no bullshit, no games. Just two pros having an honest conversation.

He’ll have known this was coming, and I take comfort in that.

I’d like to think we will move quickly if the right players are available. Wishful thinking perhaps, but it’s now time for the team to support the manager and turn this situation into an opportunity (albeit one that might take some patience from us), rather than a set back.

Annoyed that we even took him on the tour. If we knew this was happening why waste time with that charade. This should all have been done with weeks ago.
Valuable minutes that could have been given to Scarlett or Son back in the centre. Ange hasn't come across as someone who is told what to do but can't help have the suspicion that he might have been on this.

Wasn’t exactly expecting Ange to say,

“Well yeah we’ve obviously got loads of money now, so let’s go and bloody spend it mate”

I think he’s clearly talking about Maddison coming in for the creativity and Veliz as one for the future…

So we have been spending money with Harry's fee in mind? Haha, it explains our current transfer strategy, spending what we earn. Fucking wankers.

Football done via spreadsheets :banghead:
Explains why Levy panicked g when deal looked shakey, spreadsheets were looking sick.

the deal wasn't good enough. it required that both sides had to agree and if the deal fell thru, and it apparently almost did multiple times, we would want him in shape. Beat Levy et al with the proper stick. 1. A deadline should have been set in place weeks ago. The lack of a deadline allowed it to drag on. 2. The club's strategy with Jose and Antonio was ultimately flawed and the architects of that failure have to pay a price for their poor decision making. that hasn't happened. (Edit: the first point is in agreement with you)

Because Bayern hadn't offered us £100m weeks ago.

You're not really that dense are you Tucker. Tell me you're not.

That's fine but you are choosing to ignore some of the most reliable ITKs on this site that the deal was agreed in principle the day before the Shakhtar match.
