He would be a star in the Saudi league, where are those clubs when we need them?
Levy was the leading figure in a group that wanted to reach an agreement between all PL clubs to not do business with Saudi clubs, so we can just forget that they are giving us any money in the near future. Bald twat...

Are there not breach of contract issues if he continually shows up unfit ?
If he complains of soft tissue issues it’s very hard for a physio to prove he’s faking.

As long as he turns up every day even if not giving 100% effort, there’s not a lot you can do.

We can’t blame Ndombele, we scouted him and we handed him the contract of a lifetime, for him at least

The flaws with his mentality and attitude were well known, Poch just thought he could turn them around. Never a good gamble to take

I will never understand why greater priority is given to even basic psychometric profiling when scouting players. The mentality of a player will always trump his natural talent over time

Even just talking to their early coaches would reveal a lot. Ndombele’s issues were always there, so are Djed Spence’s so it’ll be interesting to follow his career trajectory too

compare their mentality to Harry Kane who was never the most naturally talented footballer but who as a boy would sit there after training, eyes closed, quietly visualising what aspects of his game he could improve based on that day’s training session….

Reports are he isn't willing to go to Turkey so he's going to knock back the 2 clubs looking to sign him. Doesn't look like we'll be getting rid of him on a permanent deal this summer unfortunately. No idea where he's going to end up now.

Sums him up really if this is true. Fact is nobody wants him, at least nobody at the level he clearly thinks he deserves. Look at Zaniolo, he didn’t want to go to Turkey but he went, knuckled down, looked good and now Villa amongst other want to get him. All it would take Ndombele is one good season in Turkey before bigger clubs would start talking notice. I honestly bet he blames all his misfortune on us. Fact is all his problems are mental, he just doesn’t have the the drive or focus. It’s such a waste but football is awash with these sort of stories. All the ability in the world can’t make up for laziness.

Personally I’m glad we didn’t waste too much time on him this pre season as it would have taken time away from Gio who very clearly does have the desire to be here and succeed. I just hope Saudi come in with the mega bucks and that tempts him. Although if it hasn’t happened by now I’m not sure it will.

If he won't go then it's times to get tough. Put him in the reserves, isolate him, whatever.

I know there is another side to this in that he is entitled to stay but we have to be tough sometimes, he is on a fortune offering nothing.

Saudi clubs have filled their boots With Luverpool and Chelsea deadwood. They seem to to have little interest in our deadwood which illustrates just how shite our deadwood must be

Our TW during summer 2018 was abysmal, but the TW 2019 looks even worse. We spent circa 150 mln. and it didn't strengthen us. Probably, only Lol Celso after 4 years may contribute.

I agree that the fault lies with us too, but we can absolutely blame Ndombele for not making things a success with us. Yes we should have done better due diligence, but his lack of application and poor attitude is entirely on him.

It wasn't written in the stars that he'd fail with us, and he's not some helpless victim of circumstance; he has full responsibility for his own thoughts and actions.

Genuinely might be the biggest waste of talent I've ever seen, it's such a shame. At least players like Taarabt went to QPR and became stars, albeit for a limited time. We've barely seen flashes from Ndombele.

Tanguy’s missed a trick here.

With Harry gone we can no longer be called the Harry Kane Team. If Tanguy decided to step up, we could’ve become the Tanguy Team or Team Tanguy.

Has a ring to it.

If Ndombele tried that people would say he's napping.

Maybe it would be good not to allow them to wash their money through us though

You see Tanguy running after a ball in that heat?
Nah, but I can't see him running after the ball in any climate.

He could be a stationary no 10 and spread balls around and do the occasional nutmeg to the audience appreciation though.

I would say from our club's and owners' point of view that don't throw bricks when you live in a glass house. Levy is not one that should take the moral high ground and set up the rules for how the whole PL should be run from a moral point of view. lex Jow Lewis the living saint?

Not sure that's comparable but hey. He can certainly dictate how we are run rather than the rest of the league. I'm really not fussed if we don't take Saudi money. I just want him sold more legit or released.
