I think thats a good observation the way we played against them at theirs has rattled the fans. They thought they were far superior and really we look pretty even, and they are further ahead in development

To be fair to them they should have won the league and we were nowhere last year so they would have assumed an easy afternoon.

It's only us who have seen a ridiculously big improvement both in new personnel (Vicario, VdV, Udogie, Maddison) and improvement/given a chance from existing players (Romero, Bissouma, Sarr, Porro) added to a complete change in direction from the new manager.

As a few of them have mentioned we've done in a couple of months what Arteta took 5 years to do.

What I love the most is this. It goes from:

"Tottenham have had the easiest start, they've only played shit teams, we're gonna absolutely batter them"

to:

"They are gonna get found out and battered by Liverpool and City"

What's gonna be next? "Well, they haven't played Newcastle, Luton, or Preston North End in the FA cup yet. You just wait, I tell thee ".

To be fair they’re moaning and the crowd helped them get a lot of decisions. The ref was a coward and it absolutely benefited them.
