So much so an attacker is more important than a defenderBeen fantastic since the VDV Injury, so much so that a RCB is more of a priority than LCB

Hes probably going to have to play at left back v Everton.I think he had a bad game as a left back earlier this season and was subbed. But as centre back he has been absolutely fantastic. As someone said, his football IQ is very high.
I don't think so. I think Royal will play left back. Davies is too important as a centre back when VdV is out.Hes probably going to have to play at left back v Everton.
Actually had forgotten about Royal, that actually makes me feel a good bit better. Was thinking Dier in the middle with Romero..I don't think so. I think Royal will play left back. Davies is too important as a centre back when VdV is out.
Royal will probably do a decent job. Probably not as bright as Udogie going forward, but probably good in possession and a solid performance when defending.
Jist shouting out my appreciation for this man. Not the most talented in the squad but a complete professional who always puts i
a shift when called upon. Spurs to the bone.
All our coaches rated him and all of them played different type of football, I can definitely see it.Ange alluded to Davies being a clever guy, taking in nee instructions. He’s a clever bloke is Davies. Possible future manager ?
More than 7/10 last night. He was a nine. Mom for me. When he is played in the right system with quality players around him he performs. If he is happy to be in reserve for vdv we should keep him. He's been solid and tbh, he usually is always solid whenever he plays. He's always been reliable and dependable as a squad player.
I think alot of the times he gets stick from everyone and why everyone wants to sell him, is purely because he gets lumped in with the actual ones who need to leave like Dier. This isn't a slight on Dier but he's clearly past it with us and for some reason Davies is always lumped in with him and other underperformers.
Davies has always been a solid 7/10 and you know he always gives it his all even when he's limited in areas of his game. Fully COYS.
I think I was one of those. It's funny, go back a few pages and there were posters flinging poo at him, declaring him for sale etc.
Dunno what we'd have done without him.
Interesting question. I wonder how many PL players of Davies generation will want the hassle of Management when their bank accounts are full to overflowing ?Ange alluded to Davies being a clever guy, taking in nee instructions. He’s a clever bloke is Davies. Possible future manager ?
There’s not many top premier league players that go on into management and stick with it. If you look at the coaches currently in the premier league. You've got Pep, Arteta, Poch and Kompany who played at the top level. I think premier league players of this and the previous couple of generations don’t need the money like you say, or choose not to bother with the pressure and just go into punditry.Interesting question. Probably more than you would think. Many are addicted to the game and find it hard to let go when their playing careers are over. I doubt Rooney, Gerrard or Lampard really needed the money.Interesting question.
