Every time Moyes seems in trouble he goes on a mini run of big wins. They've beaten us, Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea and he's still probably not that wanted by their fans

I asked this in the match thread but it got swallowed up. My question is why can ref retrospectively give a yellow to kulu for the pen (no complaints, it was dumb) when var can't retrospectively give yellows.

If it's cos it was a var check for a pen, then why was Saka not booked for diving?

Once there is an on field review the refs are allowed to use the video to issue any cards they deem fit.

Oliver could have issued a yellow for simulation if he gave a pk and then got called to the screen.

To be 4 points off 'the champions elect' who have spent serious amount if money with a severely depleted squad and player's that do not fit your methods is bloody marvelous.

Regarding Arsenal.

I still maintain my point that they are not scoring enough to win the title.

They are leaving a lot of games in the balance and relying on a solid backline to get them through.

West Ham are not a good team to play when you try do that.

My friend is absolutely bi-polar with it, posting on socials everything from Moyes last game a few months ago and tonight its "if Carling did football nights"

It was posted in here or the Arsenal thread that over 50% of their goals are from set pieces. That's not a good stat

Apparently no other team has had 77 touches in the box and failed to score.

Surely Kulu's yellow was tied to the pen? As in it's either no foul, and so no pen, and so no card, or it is a foul, and a pen and therefore a card?

The card itself wasn't checked by VAR, but if it was a penalty then the card simply followed.
