I though Drury was a good signing but his spoken word is very, very boring now.

VAR is just pointless. Wrong decision over and over yet causes so many delays.

Such a blatant dive from Jota, still gets penalty. Maddison hacked down with clear contact in the area against Sheffield and nothing.
I find it quite bizarre, certain teams (Liverpool certainly) always gets these soft penalties and the commentators/pundits will say "there was contact just there..." Where as other teams, like us, commentators/pundits always seem to say "not enough contact there for me..."

Yeah I don't get the "not enough contact for me" then we see that

Based on that, Son should have had 3 penalties alone. Never mind super clear ones like Maddison being hacked down against Sheffield

A Kiwi - Jared Gillet - Studied at a Liverpool Uni and guess what team he supports ?
I remember reading an article a few weeks ago that he wasn’t allowed to officiate their games due to his allegiance to Liverpool. He reffed a charity game and called it the best game of his life.

I love the notion that referees can’t officiate games involving the teams they support but they can officiate games involving teams who could impact their favourite team 😂 it’s completely ridiculous.

That’s maybe the worst dive I’ve ever seen, with context in mind (that he had an open goal to hit it into). Mind boggling.

Hope Newcastle make a big deal out of it.
Where the fuck was VAR on that. A blatant dive if ever there was one. Clear and obvious ref error. Pull it back, book Jota. it was set up nicely at 3-2. Newcastle should make a fuss about it just to make that narrative that the scousers use so often themselves.

Would explain a lot about his absolutely awful performance in our game at Forest, to some degree.

I hope that may be the turning point if everyone (pundits and journos etc) keep pushing how poor of a decision that was they may not keep up their ridiculous run of everything going their way. Doubt it though

It doesn't matter though because "Liverpool deserved to win the game" will be the line

Quick scan though RAWK match thread and not a single poster calling it a dive. And they used to have the cheek to call Kane a diver.
