The midfield's been fine.
At retaining the ball
The midfield's been fine.
Brennan reminds me of Aaron Lennon lol
That would be the Hail Mary move imo mate, more creativity in the middle but even more exposed defensively but yea I like the idea of that change, if not then Donley.Gill for Skipp at some point.

Skipp made the pass of the game to Werner. My initial concerns are confirmed so far. No creativity at all, Skipp looks completely lost out there. Both Werner and Johnson are too soft and prefer to pass back then run at their man. Defence has surprisingly been poor as well. Porro plays too inverted when we defend and it leaves Rashford with acres of space.
Lots to do second half if we want to get back in this.
He has. He's been more composed on the ball and has given it away far less. Albeit Skipp made a great pass for Werner.TBH Lolo hasn't been better than those two tonight. Naturally still rusty and half fit, but that means he won't make 90mins, not without fall on performance level.
Completely agree mate.Yeah PEH and Skipp have been okay but we lack that athletcism and revovery without Sarr.
We also are unable to penetrate United centrally without Maddison, Deki and Lo Celso....Son too

Rashford is causing us problems and Porro is getting no help from Johnson. I’ve mentioned this in previous games that Johnson is very slow to get back to help defensively. Werner is doing ok but his lack of recent game time is apparent. I’d like him to run at the FB more instead safely passing back .
Not just talking about this game. I fully understand the situation with the forwards, but it has been the area of the pitch that hasn't really clicked for us yetRicharlison has only had one chance which he scored, Johnson has looked lively but admittedly been pretty ineffective, and Werner hasn't started a game for 2 and a half months. Not sure what more you want from them.
Our defense has looked more shaky than our attack today.
Yep. If he has his hands out and gives away a penalty they'd be saying the total opposite too“Hands behind their back” is the new “diving in”. Someone makes an observation and it becomes a mantra.
