    Guess a 3 year contract would be appropriate for either of them? I'm not for either for a slew of reasons but as long as we don't overcommit contractually we should be fine. There was a past issue to get a profit/fee but I think we as a club have become more pragmatic in that regard.

    We might want a central playmaker who can drift wide to rotate with Madison, though. Remember Ange saying that was a quality he liked.

    Shame that Barkley is 30 as he is basically what we need in the middle of the park. Will be on a free too. Can't imagine wages would be massive either.

    Also we'll have Europe next season so injuries will be more of an issue, which is worrying after this season. Hopefully a lot of that was adapting to Ange's style of football.

    I don't understand why but someone said we aren't going for Williams at all? WLB? Maybe this will make us revise our preferences. Otherwise rumours would suggest we're going all out for Eze.
