my opinion … trippier is our best rb in the short-term and kwp our best in the long-term, which leaves aurier the odd one out. if aurier is here next season then i expect he will improve but not to the point where it's worth stifling kwp's development for. i suspect what will actually happen...

look at grealish, almost 23 and it was only a year ago he was written off as a wasted talent, now we're probably going to pay the best part of 30m for him. marcus is still only 19 and whilst there have been suggestions of him being a bit "difficult", there's never been reports of him acting...

no, we can offer a 3rd year scholarship if we wish, once they've finished that then we either sign them to a pro or release. i don't know why an agent would have to wait until the player is 18 before they get a fee, not when the age that they can sign one is 17. even if that were the case, which...

17 is the age you can sign a pro contract, hence why skipp and others are on pros. griffiths will have been offered one but he's decided to sign a 3rd year scholarship instead to keep his options open.

i would put him in the "wait and see" category, there's something there to work with but he's not one to hang your hat on just yet.

i think that was the club's option to extend by a year so we got a fee for him. most of those who sign pros(bar the likes of onomah etc) only sign 1+1 deals. i suspect reo didn't want to lock himself in for two years so signed an extension to his scholarship instead.

great news on hinds. wonder what that means for reynolds though as every other 2nd year is now on a pro, even freeman.

harrison surely not, keeping him in the u23s serves no purpose to anyone. brown i would guess will stay.

seems unlikely given he has two years left on his deal. hopefully he has a better time of it next season though as last year was effectively a wasted one for him.

i'm fine with brown staying, not that i see him one day playing for us or even at a high level but he's not a player who i see on the team sheet and think "urgh", we don't have many options at lb now either so it's not like he's blocking anyone else from coming through. it's funny because a year...

you don't know that and winks was two years older than edwards is now, who knows what can happen in that time. there was also a story about how winks had broke down in tears after begging poch/the club to let him go out on loan so it was hardly plain sailing, he had to wait a long time as well...
