Looks bloody amazing!
Like some others I’m quite surprised to see £4 a pint. Although I noticed they are still charging £2 for a bottle of water!!! Shouldn’t be surprised really, but hoped they’d be a bit more reasonable there!
Also think they are asking for trouble selling 6-7% proof beer...
Yeah they are 5/6 points ahead of us, rarely drop points themselves and most crucially we have already played both teams at home and lost both games.
We are in a much better position than I envisaged and I would be delighted with 3rd considering all the things we’ve had to deal with this season.
Mata is woefully underused by Utd imo. They have a severe lack of quality and control in the final third, yet Mata barely features.
Would actually love us to try and sign him, although his wages are probably out of our reach. Doubt he’d start for us every game but I’m sure would get more...
I didn’t realise they had changed so many defenders. Yeah that seems a strange one, especially as if they have made changes they don’t seem to have made clever defensive signings.
I haven’t seen that much of them and obviously confidence is low, but watching them now and they just look...
Agree to a point, but not sure it’s just that. When I saw them last year I thought I’d like them to go up because they play excellent football, but defensively they looked like they could struggle making the step up and so it has proved to be.
To be fair I think you both have a point.
Obviously none of this is necessary to host a football match, but it is necessary to host a corporate space for those football matches.
Anyone paying top dollar where facilities are half baked would expect a partial refund even if it didn’t effect...
I don’t think we should expect a great performance tomorrow. Tuesday will have taken a lot out of them.
Just get the 3 points, move on and hopefully save something in reserve for the Arsenal game next week.
Think it’s more to do with arrival times. During mid week everyone tends to arrive at similar times and always leads to more congestion outside the ground. I could see why the club would prefer to have at least one weekend game before staging a midweek one.
Indeed. The idea that we can just “try harder” to solve all the stadium issues because we have the carrot of a CL tie is a bit ridiculous imo.
It’s not like Levy watched the Barca game and immediately phoned his wife and said “find my toolbox, I’m going in”.
