I would say the last 3 seasons have been the best of his career but I agree with you in general and if we are willing to let him go there must be concerns over his longevity because why else would we let him go?
But he’s had a good run of games recently and has played a big part in our unbeaten run ( before city match) would be a strange decision to let him go imo as I believe he has at least another good season in him
Even if Chelsea win all their remaining games, which is unlikely with their current form imo they would finish on 75 points.
That means 7 more points and we are guaranteed 4th. With our remaining games 3 of which are at home and 1 away to a already religated West Brom I fancy our chances
Making lots of changes rarely ever works for us even when we play lower league teams.
Despite the draw tonight I still think it was the right call, the semi final is a huge match for us and takes priority
