    No one ever thinks our defensive midfielders are defensive midfielders its bizarre. PEH, Skipp, Bissouma all of them I've seen people say we don't have a defensive midfielder.

    I will say - if not Van De Ven then who would people prefer? If Tapsoba is 60mil, I'm not sure who else the top CB prospects are that would be realistic for us. The only one that maybe sticks out is Antonio Silva at Benfica but he'd probably be more expensive. Not many top CB prospects that...

    I do agree we should have sold him several years ago but who cares that he started a Champions league final 4 years ago? He hasn't featured for England in like 3 years. Unfortunately the Stokes & Sunderlands are gone who used to buy any top 4/5 teams castoffs for good money.

    See I don’t agree with this at all. I think he’s pretty poor at LB and his passing and offense is atrocious for a LB. He’s acceptable as a LCB in a 3 only and as a backup. Give me Reguilon all day over Davies.
