We love this guy and will be very sorry to see him go, but I'm sure all fans will wish him well and hope that he can regain the confidence he so plainly lost trying too hard for us.
A lot of unpleasant comments here. I contacted the company after the court decision and they are a lovely family firm of Spurs supporters. They did nothing apart from try to stay in what has been their place of business for many years. The range and quality of their products is huge. (Have a...
I think that Kane and Austin would make a terrific pairing. They have different styles and skills. If we don't get Austin during the summer we would be mad. (imho)
I loved watching him play and have admired him as a man since then. For the sake of all Spurs fans I wish he could come back to us. The Hall of Fame is almost meaningless without Jimmy Greaves.
I love Soldado. He works hard for the team, he makes goals for Kane and his ball skills are often a delight. I am one of those who have cheered him on from the stand and seen the obvious high regard in which the squad hold him. However, his confidence in front of goal has gone and is not...
Like others, I think Kane and Soldado could make a great strike pair. Soldado just needs a goal or two, (he almost did it tonight), and his confidence will soar and we will get the player we thought we had when he first arrived.
'A takeover would be welcomed by a large number of Tottenham fans, who have grown frustrated with Levy’s football decisions and negotiations, and the delays to the new stadium.' So says the article. This just shows the journo to be an ignorant publicity seeking man looking for a way to fill...
Wembley? A much longer and more difficult journey for me. A lot will depend on ease of acess and other facilities for disabled.
I just hope the club doesn't give in to these 'blackmailers' whose greed has caused this problem.
Up until I was 9yrs, I lived within walking distance of the lane and used to stand and look at those gates and the front of the stadium.
Now in my seventies I have fallen out of love with football because it is a rip off for most supporters who pay through the nose so that the clubs can pay...
An interesting article, which must have taken hours of thought, and has given rise to mainly well thought out comments. Much centred on the importance of Sandro, but could Scotty Parker play the same role? He is still my bet to be club captain.
A fine read and a lenghthy bit of work. I think there is a silent majority of us who are happy to give AVB what time he needs. His problem at Chelsea was more about managing the BIG characters like Terry, Lampard and Drogba when he was really only about the same age. Look at the guys record...
Some folk here seem not to be able to tell the difference between the behaviour that goes on while negotiating a move and the skill and attitude once the player has signed. Berba got us a fantastic fee but didn't make it at ManU. Even at 31 he still has the skills and at £8M would be a snip...
