The manager selection is important, but what’s most important is whether the new manager is backed by the board. If the board does not back him, then it doesn’t matter who the manager is.
Who ever is the manager doesn’t disguise the fact that we need players. Half the squad is inadequate. Unless the board backs the manager, it won’t work.
People are forgetting the number of matches in a short time along with key injuries.
