    I actually think Emerson was pretty good in the second half on Saturday. Everyone around me in the stadium is always so negative about him, but he was so much better than Sess in that game, and those same people are so willing to give him a chance. I like Royal - he clearly has his limitations...

    Its weird given how early in the season this comes, but it feels like a huge game. Both of us having had very good starts to the season but them having looked more convincing in their wins. Would absolutely love to win this away and lay down a marker.

    No, No, this isn't how the market works in football these days. Markets are typically very good predictors of results, otherwise the big hitters soon get them into line. UK bookies don't even have overly big liabilities on England for major international tournaments these days.

    If we don't get another lcb would be surprised if Lenglet isn't first choice in quite short order. Davies is ok defensively and can carry the ball ok but the additional passing range give by Lenglet would aid the team much more, even if we think that he's slightly worse than Davies defensively...

    We live just round the corner from here and got a knock from the police asking if we had a camera or anything. No, gentrification won't help, but proper regeneration of an area with a good amount of community assets and affordable housing can certainly make a big difference in the circumstances...
