It's not exactly talk of replacing him
It's about him leaving at the end of the season, or having a massive bust up with Levy, or completely losing the plot, or all three
I don't think anyone on here actively wants him gone
Unfortunately I'm starting to believe what Shady is saying; there never was a big budget for this TW
Levy's MO is sell before buying, so why change now?
I just hope that Poch wasn't told what the ITKs were told (and then passed onto us), because if he was told that the transfer budget was...
But perhaps that's the problem; we're believing what others think, instead of being ambitious and committing at the right moment.
I mean, when is a good time to go all in?
It's not going to be handed to us on a silver platter. We have to take a chance once in a while!!
You're right about 2016/17
2015/16 we certainly were title contenders; we were 4pts off 1st place on January 2016
And the 2011/12 season we were 6pts off the top with a game in hand, so I stand by that one
I think everyone (except the police) was a bit OTT in that video.
It's strange that Man Utd were getting the train though; couldn't they just get on one of their luxury coaches at Vicarage Road and head north?
Agreed, although Levy's got previous for this
Wasn't there a season (10/11 possibly) when we were going for the title with a few others and needed one or two more players to push us over the line? Even VDV talks about it.
And then there was 2015/16 and/or 2016/17 when a few reinforcements...
Once the stadium is completed, which will probably be before March next year, Levy and Lewis will be putting the club on the market so they can make a return on their investment
A brand-new stadium in London, PL footy, Europa or CL footy, a top 6 club and NFL matches. Some good...
I can't imagine that Poch was particularly happy with no signings. Obviously we don't know the ins and outs of it, but it looks like the scouting network, recruitment team and Levy have let him down. Of course Poch is a part of this process, but he still needs others to perform to get results...
The sitting DM should be a great passer of the ball. The other CM should be someone who can drive forward with the ball (a decent shot on him wouldn't hurt either)
Plus 2 x full backs who can bomb forward at pace
And then the usual 4 forward players
We should just stick with that and...
Tactics and motivation (especially in first half performances, which we tend to start slowly) have been a bit of a reoccurring issue, over the last 2 (possibly 3?) seasons.
It's led me to have tiny, nagging doubts about Poch's ability as a manager at the highest levels of the game; something...
I'm starting to think that our players are slowly losing their motivation
Lucas will have given them a boost I'm sure, but the fact that other teams have strengthened and we didn't may have led the players to start doubting that they can compete anymore
The squad definitely needs freshening...
Is there anyway that the public authorities in London can rip up the contract and start again?
In private business you can't simply do that, but when governments want to flex their muscles they usually get away with it.
Any precedent for changing of contracts?
