    Pochettino: Sissoko deserves more credit

So you think that saying he deserves praise when he does well and criticism when he doesn't is bollocks. Think I've heard it all now.

    Pochettino: Sissoko deserves more credit

He just got a load of praise from the fans because the last game was one of those rare occasions when he did well. Hopefully he'll get a bit of a confidence boost as a result but it's perfectly fair that he gets criticism when he deserves it - nobody earning what he does should expect anything else.

Barrios on his way to us?

Doesn't remind me one single bit of Dembele. Maybe similar to Wanyama but Barrios is nowhere near the footballer Moussa is.

Barrios on his way to us?

The only possible upside to this rumour is that none of our competitors in any competition would be the slightest bit interested in him.

I don't think it's just defensive duties. His main rivals are probably Nowell, Rokodiguni, Daley, Yarde etc and all of them are better than Wade at the offensive ruck where your own player goes to ground and the opposition need to be cleared out. International rugby is also a big step up in this...

I'd imagine the $$$$$ have a lot to do with it.

The problems Spurs face in following up their interest in de Ligt

If there really was an option to tie up a deal for deLigt and loan him back to Ajax for the season, that was the time to get it done. It will be a proper bun fight for his signature in the summer and we won't be at the races at all IMO.

    Winter Transfer Wishlist

We're in a very tough spot at the moment, primarily due to the spiralling cost of the stadium. We were told that transfer spending wouldn't be affected by the stadium construction and I assume that was originally true, but the goalposts have moved and there's a huge amount of money to be found...

It's the front row that looks really weak. Don't see much problem in the back row with players like Ewers, Rhodes. Shields, Curry, Kvesic, Underhill, Harrison, Wray all deserving a chance. In other words, get your boots cleaned up if you're a prop.

    Winter Transfer Wishlist

Didn't play for us for another 6 months though, so 3 years really. It makes no odds though - we need home grown players but Levy won't pay the price for anyone who could push for a starting spot. I'm not sure who's out there that ticks any boxes tbh. We're in an odd situation where anyone who is...

I want to see Ewers get a chance. Robshaw must be yesterday's man by now, surely.

Player Watch Player Watch: Harry Kane

The people who voted for Sterling must have all been Mancs or people who could only count up to 2 - so all Mancs then.

Great chance for a whole bunch of players to stake a claim though.

Aulas puts the ball in Daniel Levy’s court over Ndombele

I think he'd be a great fit for us and really hoped we'd do something in the last window (kiss of death). I don't see us getting anywhere near him now though. Seems we won't take a chance on a prospect but won't cough up the reddies for a proven player either.
