    Why cant we beat these defensive teams at the lane?

    Because we do not get behind their defences. We need wide players to get behind them, and if they double up on Lennon we need another winger on the left to open them up. We are playing through the middle, and if we continue doing this more teams will sit deep and just defend.

    Spot on mate, he is very good running forward, but when given a ball on the wing when he has to turn he lacks the speed over the first 5 yards. I have notice twice when playing for Wales he had good games when playing a more central midfield position?

    Dawson and Bassong as our future CBs, do people believe in it?

    Bassong I am not sure about, but he could be a good full back. He has a lot to learn in the reading of the game, and has been the problem in a few of the goals we have given away. He is still young and will/should become a better defender than he is at present.
