    Why can't we sign a top class player without selling one as well. Carrick never got a chance to play with Berbatov, same with Berbatov/Modric. Just imagine if we could sign a couple of top notchers to play with Modric. Now that would be something.

    My problem with McGeady is that he doesn't even look that good in Scotland against some very weak teams. Looks like another Liam Miller/Barry Ferguson to me and he just won't be good enough for English football, imo of course.
