Yep. The 2 games after Liverpool, Fulham at home, 14 fouls by them, no cards. Then palace away 19 fouls by them, 2 yellows both in injury time. I think I read the 2 games after Liverpool there were 31 fouls on us without a card being shown!
I checked the stats on 80 mins. Forest 12 fouls us 10, them no cards, us 4 yellows & a red. No arguments with the red but the yellows were soft compared to what Forest were allowed to get away with.
Exactly there has to be a margin of error built in with the benefit of the doubt going to the attacker.
In the 90s they changed it so level was onside as we wanted more goals now it seems they're finding ways to disallow them.
That was an amazing team goal disallowed for the finest of margins...
I agree with this so one thing that needs to happen is when a coach has an outburst like the one Arteta's just had they have to be punished. It should start with a significant touchline ban & then if he does it again within a certain timeframe there needs to be a points deduction.

I really like Max. Doesn't seem to have an ego or take himself too seriously but knows his stuff & is also funny. His dad's a Spurs fan, Max is a Cambridge fan but he's got a soft spot for Spurs. Think he calls us his favourite club that win things & pretty sure he means favourite big club &...
2 cards for them both in injury time. We always seem to get the ref who decides to be lenient with cards when it's only the other team doing all the fouling.
At least we'll get a week of the media going on about VAR going against Spurs though. Looking forward to that
He's such a twat. Can't stand the bloke. After the way he behaved after the Spurs defeat he should've just quietly taken the win but he's milking it for all it's worth. Hope Dyche calls it like he should in the post match press conference
Klopp can go back to being Mr nice guy in his press conference at least. Sure he'll have no problem with the ref today.
4 penalties for Klopp already this season. We're still waiting to find out who our new penalty taker is
Big win. Before kick off a draw would've been a bad result. No excuses we just had to find a way to win & we did. As you said we have to learn from this. Should have been a comfortable win & stupid from Bissouma, but to miss chances, have Son have a real off day, go down to 10 at nil nil & still...
Interesting how Ange always tries to keep Kulu on as long as possible. Late winner against Sheffield United & role in winner against Liverpool. Had criticism from fans for always cutting back onto his left foot but Ange must like what he's seeing
Crazy from Bissouma. Crazy decision making sums up our half. Real lack of composure shown throughout the half. If there was ever a team to be down to 10 against it would probably be Luton though. Be interesting to see how Ange responds
