Some of you just live to complain.
Against a stubborn bunch, I’ll take that. Everyone is knackered, with little rotation. I don’t know what some of you expected.
Look at the table, smile, and then settle in for Utd or go to the cinema.
O, MOTM to Sissoko. Cause why not.
Vorm - 5. Little could do about the goals, no real saves to make. Terrible kicking.
Trippier - 6. Looked decent enough, but caught out a few times on that flank.
Alderweireld - 5. Looked absolutely fine until we scored, then turned to shit.
Sanchez - 5. See above.
Vertonghen - 5. See above...
Inter have brought in a lot of new players, so playing them at the San Siro first could be ideal. As others have mentioned before, they’re lacking in consistency and still figuring out their best team.
Some excellent players though.
Looking forward to this one. Watford won’t sit back and will take the game to us, so expect us to get plenty of chances.
That being said, Watford have started well, and Pereyra is a hell of a player.
5-0 Spurs :grumpy:
Just chiming in on Dier. He played his part just fine. Their midfield had no rhythm or consistency. He was breaking up play and doing the small things.
Deserves a lot more praise than some on her continue to give him.
Lucas my MOTM though
Thought Rose improved a lot after *that*...
I don’t think he was that bad. Unfortunately, the one moment that will stuck was when Kenedy had the entire Tottenham half to himself. That’s on Serge. Where the fuck he was going is beyond me.
But other than that, people are overreacting to his general performance. Also worldie of an assist...
Don’t see Alderweireld starting down to World Cup. Vertonghen will start because needs must, but fully expect the World Cup players to be limited to Jan and Dier.
Either way, whatever team we put out should be strong enough. Same as last year, boys :)
