Yep, my dad watched Arsenal when Spurs were away in the early 60's, he was living in Highgate at the time and backs up what you say about fans going to watch multiple London clubs.
Sounds more like he'd walk if people without the required football knowledge start making suggestions on player recruitment.
I don't think he's demanding, just wants things done properly.
Celtic were a dominant team with superior buying power in their league, but I think he took that job with both eyes on getting noticed by a PL team, it worked, and the timing was right.
Whilst I agree that was the case when he arrived, I feel as the seasons gone on he knows we need some serious quality in certain positions if we're to go up a level.
Bad results will always bring out issues of faith, in this case it's faith that the coach isn't talking bollocks and his insistence that this season is one purely about development, analysis and the long-term will bring success.
